Can i buy this version and use these with the expansion games as well? or would i need the original europe or us version to use with expansion games?

The only ‘game’ difference between this set and the basic Europe set is this is missing the 3 ‘extra’ trains in each color. The basic Europe set gives you a total of 48 cars per color but this gives you only 45 each. So, depending on the specific expansion and the number of cars it requires, it may or may not be a problem. Also, the expansions come with the original train colors and shapes, so they won’t match the specialty shapes and colors in this deluxe set.

If I already have the original game and 1912, should I get this version?

It mostly depends on how big of a fan you are. I owned the original plus 1912 and still bought the anniversary edition. You are only getting a few new cards. It is mostly just fancier train and train pieces and a much larger and more ornate board. I really like the anniversary edition and am glad I got it. So far I have played the new version at home and used my old original one to take other places.
