Very good for the price
Update with attached art I do with it now after 9 months of usage: pretty darn useful pens, the only problem I'd talk of now is the fraying of nibs, just be careful with those I've been doing lettering and journaling for two years now, and I think many would find this detailed review helpful. 1. Build quality (3/5): the cardboard box that the brush pens came in are sturdy enough, and very pretty. Though you'd probably want to transfer the pens somewhere else because this box probably won't last. The pens themselves are of average build quality. There's a matte finish to the thing which looks pretty, but they are light and flimsy. That's to be expected given the price. The nib was quite disappointing for me. It's a hard nib and not flexible at all. If you exert too much pressure, you'll just wear it out faster. Extremely prone to fraying. What this means is if your main thing is calligraphy, this is not the pen for you. But if you are buying this for drawing purposes, it's pretty good. Also, hard tips are always better for newbies as it gives them more stability. Just go easy on the pressure. 2. Ink (4.5/5): The ink quality is really good, imo. The colours are vibrant, the pastels are true pastels, the ink dries quickly. And despite what I read in other reviews, it's actually pretty easy to blend. (Remember, these are water based and will NEVER be as good at blending as alcohol based markers). If you want the blend to be more seamless, try transferring the ink to a palette and using a paintbrush. Would definitely help. There is also no bleeding, and barely there ghosting on paper as thin as 90 gsm. For bujo purposes, it's truly great. There also seems to be plenty of ink in the pens, I have not experienced any blotchy strokes so far. The colours are really good, and at least irl, you can tell all of them apart. The cap on a few pens are a little off from the ink, but it's a non-issue for me. 3. Overall: I got these for a mere 1k, so I'd definitely say it's value-for-money. Whether you want to upgrade from Camlin's limited 24 shades or have a cheaper replacement of Tombow Dual pens, this is a very good option. Don't expect expert calligraphy/lettering skills from these. But for beginners, or even broke intermediate artists like me, this is a good buy.

I have been an ohuhu fan and been using their alcohol markers and now these 60 shades brush pens makes a new addition. Loved the varied shades and a few of pastel tones. Wish to see more skin tones too. Thanks for lovely package box and also yes it has extra nibs

Box
Colours are damn vibrant!! Box could be more steady and hard. Ink does not transfer if you choose to have right paper! Brush paints quality are amazing. Simply would say go for it!!

I like ohuhu and ordered these because they offered me a 20% discount on my next purchase from them. These are lovely markers and the colour selection is great. I think the order of the colours is a bit odd, but that's a nitpick. Don't mind the 42 swatch, that was my mistake. The colour is far more vibrant than what is in that box. Excited to play with these. Edit: did a design for the inside cover of my new sketchbook and they worked great. Edit 2: I did a four week lightfast test with all my coloured mediums, there was no fading whatsoever. So while I haven't seen them labelled as lightfast, it would appear that they are in practice.

Having used quite a few different marker sets over the years, I think these may be my favorite. The colors are quite vibrant and the markers seem to have a lot of 'juice' in them. The brush tip works extremely well to fill in areas, while the fine tip can be used to fill in small areas. The color caps really don't do a very good job of indicating the color in them, unfortunately, which can make finding the color you want rather difficult. I've frequently taken a look over the color swatch, picked a particular color, and then wound up having to take half the markers out of the box to find that particular number because, which I picked a green color, the marker cap is a completely different shade that's closer to blue than green. Aside from the (annoying but really not that big of deal) cap color issue, my only other complaint would be the color selection: there's quite a few colors here that are so close that they might as well be identical. At the same time, I feel like there's somewhat of a lack of light/pastel colors. The 120 count set does have some lighter colors that aren't included in the 100 count set, but not quite enough, IMO. I'd really wish there were a few more light greens and purples. Overall, though, these are excellent quality markers, more than enough that I feel like my complaints are almost nitpicking.
