I like to make tapas, and to experiment with other Spanish style foods. You might not think a different sort of tomato sauce makes a difference, but it does. I actually wish the difference could be a little more pronounced

If you're looking for a tomato paste to thicken a pasta sauce, look elsewhere. This product was thinner than the sauce I wanted to thicken. Not only does this "paste" lack density, it lacks in flavor. I was looking for convenience opening one large can of tomato paste. I'll go back to opening five small cans of another brand.

Great price. Great label. Nice tomato flavor.But texture very thin, slightly thicker than tomato puree, but not like tomato paste I've used for 50 years.It pours from can rather than having to spoon it out. Upended the sauce recipe I've used for decades.I will never buy this brand again.

I was just delighted at the flavor and the purity of this product. I took a bite of it out of the can, wow, it was delicious. I hope the price stays low, I plan on eating a great deal of it.

I use paste to make a ton of spaghetti sauce when my tomatoes are ripe. I hate the tiny cans of paste so I decided to try this. It is not a paste. It is a sauce. It pours out of the can. Paste wouldn't do that. I had to wait so long for enough water to be cooked out of my sauce before I could can it. I wanted to warn others so they don't make the same mistake. Too bad I bought 2.
