Finally a sturdy egg slicer. It handles berries also. It sits sturdy on the counter and does not take force to push the lid down. It is easy to clean. I am amazed at the difference in quality.

This has ruined strawberries for me because it is the only way I want to eat strawberries now. It cuts everything really nicely and it has been a great introductory way to get my daughter involved in cooking. We’ve cut a bunch of stuff using this and we’ve never had any issues. Super easy to clean also!

I love this slicer! I don't know why I didn't buy one sooner.My 86-year-old Auntie has been losing her appetite, but since she loves my egg salad, I've been making it more often for her. I was slicing up the hard-boiled eggs by hand, and this makes the process go so much more quickly. It's easy to use, cuts uniformly, and is well-made and easy to clean. I like that it uses wires (not blades) because it's safer.

This item works well with wife’s RA. It is simple to use, very nicely priced, fits in my drawer (house lacking in storage space!) design is simple, you can cut your eggs vertically and rotate it and cut it length wise. Simpler than using a kitchen rack. I’ve had 3 different egg cutters and this is the best by far, although I do miss the one I had with 2 cutting ‘blades’. It is well built and safe to use, clean. My wife has been known to cut herself with butter knives, but try as she might, even in water (we DO NOT RECOMMEND TRYING THIS) washed it with a sponge and hot soapy water, when she rinsed it, amazingly, she did not cut herself. This is very dependable and my wife highly recommends.

This slicer is better than the one we have been using for years. You can put the egg in slice it rotate it 90 degrees slice it again. It’s a solid built unit and should last a long time.

I used this almost every day for six months and it is solid, works well and the quality is better than expected
