I am more than pleasantly surprised at the quality and ease to put it together. If you have put connecting poles in a tent setup you are going to breeze through setup. With that being said I did have to search a bit for the pole material pull thru and finding the openings on the pockets to rest the pole ends. The unit is well made, lightweight and fit well on my attic stairway hatch. I was expecting a cheap thin cover like an insulting blanket but this unit has a stitched insulting material. I heard a household could have up to 30% heat lose and I believe that as I had condensation of the ceiling boards last year when it was cold. I would highly recommend this product if you are trying to cut your heating and cooling costs.Follow Up on Feb/17: What a difference this insulating tent made. No condensation on the plywood and so much warmer in the hallway area underneath the attic stairs, even with the extremely cold winter we had.

This is awesome! It is easy to install, easy to move if you need attic access and it SAVES YOU MONEY! I noticed immediately that the cold spot under my attic was gone after installing it and a very significant savings on my heating bill! Don't listen to the reviews that this is not effective. It most certainly is. That's not to say that a full blown insulated unit covering the attic way would not be better, it could be. But I found this to do a great job and I can handle maneuvering this around. Even if you use it in the interim until you find out what you want to do about that attic door, this is worth the cost to get it and use it. I saved the cost of this in one month of heating charges. It's simple, lightweight and , I can tell you with certainty, EFFECTIVE.

I was able to easily remove my old AC line insulation and replace it with this kit. Worked great, and was very easy to use.

This little tent above my attic trap door has made a huge difference in the comfort level in the stairwell in the basement. I can’t imagine how many hundreds of dollars I could have saved if I bought this earlier! It is not as bad to set up as some reviewers said. You do you have to be careful with the plastic stays. If you manhandle it too much, it will probably break, but for the price, you can’t beat it.
