Needed a couple bags for charcoal. Have replace media a couple times already in the past months. No problems with zipper.

Folks, I decided that I wanted to add something to my hydroponic system to block the roots from getting into the plumbing while proving a home for some ceramic bio-balls. I needed something of good quality that will last a long time. And have the strength to block plant roots from the plumbing. Everything good but its a little too big that I needed but other that. It works just fine. Easy to use. Water flows thru it just fine.

excellent bags to hold activated carbon and replacable filter pads. Its much cheaper than buying already made filter cartriges for your filter.

These bags are surprisingly nice for the money. They have nice size mesh for filtering. Super easy to use and high quality. Plastic zippers keep from rusting and I’ve had no issues with deterioration or anything.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Fine mesh bags

So we had a terrible PH....and I mean terrible. So we got some coral mix and after a good boil I started adding little bits at a time to the bags and adding them to the tank until we slowly elevated to the right ph. They have worked great. I have had them pinched between the top flap (with a potted plant to keep it secure...naturally) The bags have held up fine in the time they have been in the tank.

Price is good for what you get. You can use those for many different things, I used a black one to cover my Fluval FX intake so small fish can't get sucked in and used another to hold my crushed coral.

These mesh media bags are pretty solid. I like the size as well. They are in the medium size range. The zippers are also pretty solid. I would definitely buy these again.
