NC approved meter
I own a tint shop and needed a NC approved meter this is exactly what our law enforcement uses and works great and seems to be very accurate compared to the other over priced approved meters!

Great product + size
This item is on the pricey side, but it's very intuitive and works very well. The readings are very accurate and also fits into my pocket. Overall a great product but wish it didn't cost $160

After 1 use no longer functions
Used it only 1 time and no longer works. It shows 100 for any window that is measured. Window for return is closed so unable to use it and spent $170 on it .

Expensive but trustworthy brand used my law enforcement
I am not a professional tinter but sometime I wonder about how dark my window tints are whether it's on a vehicle or home window. You basically pay for a certain percentage window tint but you don't know for sure if it's really that certain percent you're paying for. This was an expensive two hundred dollar tint meter that I will rarely use but good to have on hand. It's off by up to 5 percent even though it claims less than that. The two test slides it came with it's off by 1-2 percent. On my 5 percent window tint on my SUV, it was off by 2 percent. On a different vehicle with 25% window tint, it was off by 3%. There are a lot of generic no name brands out there but this is the most trustworthy brand so I got this. This has a little magnet so you insider the back first on the inside of your vehicle and then the front on the outside. It is very easy to read and the best part is, it can be used both daytime and night time.
