It is a nice collection of songs. As a beginner ukelele player the book has given me an opportunity to practice with my limited knowledge and build confidence. Also a great gift for a friend, also a beginner.

I'm doing my best to learn how to play my Uke and I think this book is a good one. I like that the cords are all coded for you on each song, that is very helpful for a forgetful person like myself. I hope one day to have them memorized but for the time being I love that they are there. It has good song selections too.

This book presents the songs in sheet music format with the lyrics and the chord changes ( Chord name and picture) through out the song. While it would be nice to get the tab leads so you can plink out the melody, this is a book company who sells other books for that. Also songs are spread across several page turns sometimes but if you memorize the song pattern you will know what's coming next. I find it easier and a better time to practice songs I know than to just practice strums. Check the song list and download the Kindle sample to see the format and decide if it is right for you!

So far so good. Just the 2nd and 3rd verse lyrics were written under the first instead of on a separate page. (Have to either write those in or add chords to the page of extra verses). But for $10, I guess it is overall good value and has lots of songs.

I purchased several of these books, so I can learn to play a ukelele again. Surprise! You are not young anymore, and your fingers are too soft to make the chords. I'll keep trying, and the songs are great.

Not sure how you're supposed to use this book. The written music is for piano... there is no uke tablature. No strumming notes. Just chords written above. As is this book is pointless as this most basic and tablature is available online. I bought the book hoping to gain a better comprehension of written uke music and basic tab.

THIS book is perfect. 4 easily transitionable cords that ever my 3 old fingers can make. Everything kinda glides together, once your brain memorizes the placement. I like cynthia lin you tube tutorials. She is sweet and slow. Practice practice practice.

I'm new to the ukelele and this book has been fun to learn from. My music instructor has been pleasantly surprised to see the variety of songs we can choose from for my weekly lesson challenges!

Not all the songs sound like they are supposed to. It doesn't include strumming or picking suggestions so you need to be able to work these out for your self
