Cheaper than $400.00 to have a a/c guy come out and do it.
Youtube videos show how to fix this yourself. You will save $$$ if you can follow directions and know how to use a multimeter.

Fixed my AC!!
$14 part fixed my ac, you can do it!! I just waited till I had the part in my hand and transferred one wire at a time. Worked!

Capacitor works but does not look like the picture
Capacitor works! As far as longivity-who knows as I just installed it. My main concern is that when I purchase an item part of my decision to buy that particular product is the picture which usually is combined with the written description. I would like to receive my item exaxtly like what I thought I was buying which includes it's physical appearance and markings. The capacitor I received did not meet those expectations regardless of the actual functional compliance.

did not like case was dented in transport. This is a Failure of Amazon , when shipping delicate electronic parts in a stupid plastic envelop instead of a box.
