I couldn't judge the brightness or size of these bulbs from the pics and descriptions, they are smaller and not as bright as my other Edison bulbs, I needed 2 more to match what I had , but these weren't it,Still a good bulb, they work on the ceiling fan great. I happy.

My newly installed Hunter ceiling came with the Edison style led bulbs that were of the "soft white" variety. I didn't care much for the "yellowish" (I'm more used to daylight bulbs) tinge that these bulbs afforded. I tried 9 watt LED bulbs previously but unfortunately they drew too much current and would not allow more than three stages of dimming. These 6 watt bulbs do the trick precisely. I'm glad I found them because my wife assembles jig-saw puzzles and the bulbs in her ceiling fan were also of the soft white variety. With so many different SHADES of the same color contained within jig-saw pieces the soft white made it difficult to discern the subtleties. Not a problem with daylight bulbs.

Bulb is fine, except my sockets have a metal base and the bulb is designed with an extended metal piece that wraps around the bottom of the glass area.

Work well, but color is a little more yellow than i am used to. These bulbs are as bright as normal bulbs, so I am happy with the brightness, but the color is not good.
