I LOVE this stuff. I've used this for over 20+ years. Found it at a Surf Shop in Destin Florida when I got so sun brunt because I fell asleep on the beach. The very next day, the redness and tenderness of the burn was gone. So of course I returned to the shop and purchased all they had on the shelf. This spray is great for everyday use as a light moisturizer and flying bug repellant. YES, I use it to repel flying bugs...doesn't work on ants. I get attacked by Mosquitos almost all year in Texas and this does keep them from biting me. My routine is spray everyday in the morning and go. When I do all day activities in the sun, I spray this on after my SPF dries. If I'm tanning by the beach or pool, I do sunscreen, tanning lotion and then spray this allover. I don't get sunburns anymore. Just try it once and you will definitely keep it in your skin care routine.

I started using this product 9 years ago when we were on Captiva Island and we got the worst sunburn ever. I found this in the local supermarket and decided to try it, after failing with the aloe gel gunk that is so popular. Within hours, our sunburns were no longer red, burning or hot to the touch. In addition, peeling was minimal. We use this EVERY time we come in from being out in the sun, and for the next 24 hrs after showering and have yet to have a sunburn. We're water people, so we spend a lot of time outdoors, so this product is a must have in our skin care routine during the summer months.

I discovered this product 6 years ago while in the USVI. After coming from New England and realizing you DO have to wear sunscreen when you’re that close to the equator even if you never burned before, I went to a surf shop to get some aloe/after sun for my burn. The heat and humidity would cause me to break out in a heat rash if I applied lotion and wanted to avoid spending the rest of my vacation peeling. A store employee recommended this product and my life has changed since! I did not peel! I’ve since purchased 20+ bottles since that trip to moisturize in the summer without worrying about getting a heat rash and soothing skin that may have got too much sun. Now I live in CO and in the winter I like to spritz it on my face to give a little more moisture in the dry winter. Cannot say enough good things about this product and will continue to purchase.Pro tip- keep it in the fridge in the summer. SO refreshing!

I don't know how this works so well. I have extremely fair skin, so I saw this recommended online for sunburn relief, and I ordered it. I now use it daily on my face after a shower, after removing my makeup (between serums and before cream moisturizer), and for refreshing my wavy hair on non-wash days. For my face, I use it if I use nothing else. If my face is windburned, I spray it. I have also used it after three sunburns. I rarely burn these days because I'm a very diligent sunscreen user, but occasionally, I'll end up outside too long unexpectedly or my sun time will outlive my sunscreen. In the past, no amount of aloe gel would prevent peeling. In my last three sunburns, I have used this product each time, and NO PEELING. I've also had people commenting on my skin health on my face since using this twice daily. I'm a repeat customer!!!

Takes away the burn and itch for me, I don't leave home without it during the summer

We purchased the product after it was recommended to us for treating sunburns. Our oldest is fair skin and redhead and burns easily and she swears by this in taking out the burning. It has no smell, not greasy nor sticky.

I was not a believer of anything that would get rid of sunburn... I grew up on the beach and currently live on the beach in FL and I fish a LOT... I frequently would forget sunscreen or just be out so long that it didn't matter how much sunscreen I would put on and just get absolutely fried. I came across solar recover in 2013 or so and I thought, yeah right no way, but I was surprised to find that my horrible sunburn was no longer painful after about 2 days rather then 3-5 days. I do apply this stuff immediately after I take a cold shower and then I will cover myself with it and rub it in. I probably apply it 3-4x a day when I have a bad burn and without fail, after 36-48 hours I no longer feel any pain from what would otherwise be a very painful sunburn. It doesn't make it just go away in minutes, but it does work.

My sister turned me on to this stuff. It works well. However, the ones she has have lids. These didn't come with lids...and leaked some when being shipped due to the squirter being depressed. Is there a way I could get lids for ease of travel and storage? Thank you.
