Cute, fun idea!
A lot of comments are given about these. They do write like any other regular pen would write. You do have to be careful not to sling them hard because they will fly off the cap, LOL! Also, if you want to keep them writing until you run out of ink, then store them ballpoint down. I gave some out as stocking stuffers and they were such a point of discussion. Big hit!

Happy brother
Was thinking about my brother. Seen these on Amazon. It brought back memories of my older brother when he was young and in high school. He would hang out with his friends in our family home front yard doing karate. Lol. So had to order it for him.

Small nun-chucks for minor problems.
Short people beware; I have small nun-chucks now. This might be one of the coolest things that I have ever bought, and it was a great deal. Let's be real, you are buying these because of how awesome they are and not to use as a pen, so the pen quality being low doesn't really matter. However, the first thing you need to do is superglue the pen caps on as well as the bottom caps because it is going to fly apart one day while you are playing with it (it happened to me immediately). Eventually, where the chain connects is going to break also (it took mine about a month), but I still feel like I got my money's worth out of them.

Awesome
It is bigger than expected. I thought they would be the size of regular pens, but are alot bigger! Not great for school, they are too big

Junk
Novelty junk that you can’t even fidget with or it comes apart at both ends. Don’t waste your money.

Fun but hard to use
These are adorable pens, but they’re more novelty than practical. It’s very difficult to extricate the pen from it’s cap and the cap doesn’t fit exactly onto the pen. It takes finagling. One of the pens had a massive ink leak that solidified and it took me ten minutes to clean it and to be able to get the pen out of its cap. One pen write okay and the other barely writes at all (the one that leaked). Thankfully, I have a plethora of pens and I mostly wanted this one for decoration and not entirely for writing. So it’s good for laughs but if you’re looking to purchase for practicality, you might want to pass on this one.Or maybe I just got a bad set, I honestly don’t know. Mine could have been a fluke and they are really fun.

Much sturdier then I expected
Pen part works fine and they've stayed together for several months so far even with being swung around a bunch of times
