Bought this to play with my S.O. and we are both happy with it. The checkers have a nice weight to them and the case feels sturdy and has a professional look to it. The only downside is that it's branded "grow up smart" with a little owl so it looks like a kids toy

I recently fell back into playing backgammon after almost 20 years. I had bought my kids one of those 10 games in 1 type sets and in that set was a very tacky replica of a backgammon board/chips. When I rediscovered my love for the game I searched for a while before I made the purchase because I was not 100% sure I'd get a lot of use out of it or have the time etc. I saw this set and the price was amazing and I thought to myself hmmm this probably will be some cheap set and I'll get a better one later. I was so WRONG! this set is GREAT! I have already played 10 or more times. With the case it comes in I take it with me to the lake house pool and we play for hours. It's great fun I have taught my kids and some new friends I have made at the pool. It's been a terrific addition and it's good to connect with people again as they put the screens away and for a moment we connect with good old fashion fun. Thanks to the mfg for a great affordable product, I could not be happier!

We have been looking for a felt-lined backgammon set that didn't break the bank. This one is classy looking and well made. We play about 2 or 3 times a week and this set will hold up for many years to come.

The first game I received the snap was broken. I requested a replacement and had it in 2 days. Love this game and it was a great purchase.

Upon opening I saw inside the sealed plastic the handle was completely detached. The screws were there but getting them to line up (never would tighten) took over half an hour. Still not sure if it will stay together. Inside the felt bars on either side of the board meant to hold the checkers in, were completely detached and left flat on the playing board. The tac stubs meant to attach them were barely there. I was finally able to make them stick to the correct sides but again not even certain they will stay in place. This game is not worth the money paid and they should reduce it by at least 50%. I can probably play at home but I’d be embarrassed to take this out in public.

The standard "bar" in the middle of the board for placing the pieces on while playing is missing! No problem because it was a gift for a brother-in-law who doesn't show an interest in playing anyway.

Classy, well made unit. You'll not be embarrassed when breaking this out to play.

Ho ordinato il prodotto 2 volte e due volte l'ho dovuto restituire. Nel primo caso il prodotto , invece del colore delle punte rosse all'interno del gioco,aveva le punte rosa. La se volta il prodotto aveva le pedine rosse sparse con la plastica che le custodiva rotta e separata dal contenuto. Il colore delle punte rosse ancora una volta era rosa tendente al fucsia. Mi dispiace perché era il regalo per mio nipote che dovrà rassegnarsi ad avere un regalo diverso. Sconsiglio l'acquisto di questo prodotto!!!!!

This set is a birthday present for my grandson. We started playing backgammon over the past few months, and he has become an almost addict, he still devotes a lot of his time to playing on his ipad. It should last him as long as my set that I bought over fifty two years ago
