I bought this out right with no compensation for my endorsement. It's very dicey trying to find the right bag for personal use but for me and my job I needed a very versatile and very sturdy day bag for work . I run 12 hour shifts sometimes and use my day bag like a bug-out bag with every little thing I may need from toothbrush and toothpaste to a clean shirt along with my Kindle snacks and even an extra pair of clean socks that is a bag loaded and ready to go in the early morning when attempting to make rollcall . I'm pretty rough on my stuff and go through bags pretty quickly ripping handles and especially the shoulder strap is gone after a couple weeks because of some of my early morning UFC moves getting out of the house . The G4 free three-way duffel is an amazing piece of equipment with two side zipper pouches and a full on cavity inner bag and I was amazed it was double lined . The side pouches if jammed full will take up some of your main space but I don't fill mine up that full which is also a very big point . The big bonus for me is the secret zipper under the grip handle whereas very sturdy and comfortable shoulder straps are hidden . So you can go shoulder bag or backpack or full-on pro athlete carrying bag but whatever the mood this bag covers all the bases . Available in an assortment of colors as I chose orange for when used on my bike . Price is very fair for what you get and the bag is a very good size for big boys and their toys .

I love this bag way more than I thought I would. It's got three different ways you can carry it, four if you include the small handle on the side near the top of the backpack straps, and that just makes me happy. It's got pockets everywhere, it's plenty large enough for me to toss all of my exercise and shower stuff into it with room left to spare, and it's durable. It's not waterproof, so you probably shouldn't leave it or the extra bag inside sitting in water like some of these other reviewers must have done, but it's perfect for what it is. I use the extra bag inside to carry my shower stuff (wet shoes and wet towel) and I've not had a problem with it getting anything else wet because I don't put dripping wet things inside of if. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this and it has made my goal of getting back to the gym so much more realistic because I have such a convenient way to carry everything.

Overall, this bag does the job. We got it with the intention to use it for hiking because we live in the Pacific Northwest and venture outdoors often. For a hiking bag, it carries a lot of things, such as snacks, clothes, and extra shoes. The bottom of the bag has a convenient storage section for shoes and comes with a separate shoe bag to keep the duffle clean. I stored my hiking books in it before hitting the trail and really enjoyed this feature, although it does take up a larger portion of the bag when shoes are included. Items do seem to fall to the bottom after a while and it can be a bit uncomfortable to hike in after a couple of miles. Since this bag can convert to either a backpack or a duffle bag, I believe its best use is as a weekend overnight bag or for a short hike. It is decently made, the zippers and straps are good enough quality, but I haven't used it long enough to see how much it can withstand wear and tear. I look forward to using it as a carryon for my upcoming trip to San Francisco. Will definitely update the review after the trip.

I bought this to replace an old, standard gym bag with only a single shoulder strap. Use: I use this bag as a gym bag that holds EVERYTHING I need to workout or run. A typical day will see the following items in the bag: 2 pairs of exercise shoes, a large bath towel, a small workout towel, gym clothes (sometimes with extra items of clothes), a small hygiene bag, a phone holder belt, a large water bottle, a combination lock, a small case that holds my headphones, and a hand full of other small items. Pros: I use it almost daily and love it. The back pack straps and the sturdy handle at the top of the bag are the super features on this bag. There are plenty of bags that can hold this much stuff but few seem to give you the option of switching from shoulder strap to backpack straps. The bag also has just the right balance between being too flimsy and too stiff. For me, it is just the right size for my use case. Cons: Hard to think of a con here. The shoe compartment feels kind of useless but I think that's more a function of how I choose to use the bag rather than poor design.

Just purchased this gym bag and it has exceeded my expectations in every way! It's spacious enough to carry everything that I need and with the extra shoe compartment supports the bags overall quality. I especially love the backpack carry option which comes in handy. The bag also comes with a zippered pouch that you can store the backpack's shoulder straps. A huge plus for the vendor who reached out to me asking if I was satisfied with my purchase and that if I had any issues, they would resolve them in 24-hours. Now that's customer service! I love this bag so much that I may purchase another to use as an overnight bag!

I was looking for a backpack that also opened like a duffle bag so I could load my plein aire painting equipment more easily and in a logical order, and unload the equipment in a logical order for quick set up. It worked just as I wanted: there's room for my 17" x 11" palette, the tripod, and the panel support, bag of 16 tubes of paint, linseed oil, brush holder roll-up, apron, gloves, panels, roll of paper towel, modest size sketch pad. I can load the bag/pack without fussing to squeeze everything in it. I can load everything in 4 minutes, unload in logical order without having to take things out to make set up quick. It will take more. Highly recommended. Also it sits comfortably on shoulders when a backpack. I really like the flexability.

Material is water resistant, but feels cheaply made. The zippers feel cheaply made, as well. Less space than you think and some of my clips were randomly orange (The entire bag is black). Holds a decent amount of weight. The overall comfort would be a 6/10 due to the cheaply made material the bag consists of. Not a bad looking bag but I would recommend spending a little extra money for something more quality.

This is actually the second bag I've purchased. Gave the first to my mom and just knew that I wanted the same bag again for myself instead of looking for another. I love the versatility of it having a shoulder strap, handles, and backpack straps. Love the shoe compartment as well. And should it get dirty or smelly, I just empty it and pop it in the wash; no problem!
