These are sturdy and will hold on until you take them down. Make sure you measure your bricks.
Since we have a brick house and iron doors, we opted for these brick clips to hang heavy faux pine garland around our door at Christmas. The standard size at the local hardware store were too narrow. These were queen size and fit perfect. It was so easy to install. It does help to spread out or bend down the bottom part or legs of the clip a bit with needle nose plier before clipping on the brick. Press the bottom of the clip legs onto the brick edge and pull up to get the top teeth to grip the top of the brick. Once the clips were up, we used wire to tie the garland to the clips. When time to remove, Remove the clips easily with a flat head screwdriver, pry gently at the bottom of the clip legs.

Very sturdy
I love these hooks. I was previously using a different type of hook and the were difficult to install on uneven bricks. These work like a charm and grip the bricks tightly

No special tools needed
The product allows you to hang things on your brick walls without needing a special brick bit to drill a hole. If you decide to remove no damage left behind. Used on our patio wall to hang some decorations like thermometer etc.

These clips will transform your outdoor space
We have used these to hang so many things outside; including our bistro lights which get blown a lot during stormy tornadic weather we experience here. I love that we don’t have to drill in to the 60+ year old brick. I’ve also used these clips inside on the brick fireplace to hang balloon and birthday banners. These are a must have if you have interior or exterior brick. So many uses and so easy to move around if you change your mind. It’s like a command strip for a brick!

Measured our bricks checked their order recommendations. Didn't fit
Size didn't fit, and if your tuck pointing is against the front edge of the brick, these wont work or you will have to grind out mortar to make a space for them (not recommended).

Doubt longevity
Bought these to hang exterior Christmas lights. Installed a couple of hangers to test ease of use. My bricks are 2-1/2" variety. Out of the box, I couldn't use brute thumb force to spread clips over the bricks to lock into place. I had to use pliers to bend tabs. My initial impression was that the tabs were not not going to be very durable . During the three days I left the hanger installed, it rained several times. Rust was already starting to appear. When I took the hanger off to take pictures of the rust for this review, one of the tab wings broke off. (Think how many bending cycles it takes for a paperclip to fail. This failed after one bending cycle!) Based on an admittedly small sample size, I'm thinking these are a one-time use item.At this point, I'm considering returning this item. Not sure I want to climb up 15-20 feet on a ladder to install multiple hangers, knowing the tabs may break while adjusting, and that they'll probably be rusted before the holidays are over.

brick clips - where have you been?
These are da bomb! Have not found a way to attach the rope lights (seems like nothing works for rope lights), but they work for string lights. Super easy to attach to brick; used some needle nose pliers to loosen the bottom end when it wouldn't just click onto the brick. Just make sure you measure your bricks before ordering so that you get the correct size.

Have`nt tried to use them yet, so don`t know how they will work.
Will be using them in the summer.

Strong and secure clips
Clips hold well but are tough to attach to the bricks. Broke off some lugs due to tight fit.

Canadian inches must be bigger
Bought regular hooks and realized they were too small so specifically measured and ordered this larger style but they are actually the same size as the small ones I had already bought. The advertised 2.5-2.75 inches is not possible especially if following their one finger tap in place instructions. Now, the length of the metal itself may be as long as 2.75inches but that doesn't mean the little teeth will fit over the brick even with the springs pressed down.
