The spool came damaged which was annoying. I’m not much of a fisherman but I imagine having a spool that came broken causing the line to be tangled wouldn’t be ideal.I got this for my wife to make balloon decorations. This worked perfect for that, held the balloons together for the part and you couldn’t see the line since its clear. She loved it

The cord inside my window blinds snapped. Fishing line seemed like a better long term fix than heavy duty sewing thread. And I have 365 yards left over for another project!

Annoyingly, I needed to re-tie my rig each time after catching fish as much as 1 lb (e.g. catfish) because the line got all mangled, stretched out, and curled up near the sinker and hook. Also when reeling the fish in, it was like reeling a rubber band -- so stretchy. It has one redeeming feature tho -- it did catch fish! I would recommend it for smaller fish that don't fight much.

haven't tried it on a reel, but this stuff, no joke, has about 10% stretch when pulled between your hands
