Uncle Lees Tea Organic Tea - Bamboo Original - 18 Bags

I have been drinking a cup of this tea everyday around noon for the last month. The tea tastes fine to me. It actually tasted delicious to me. However, I do love drinking tea ( no sugar) and it tastes like green tea to me, which I love. It has a very earthy taste. Imagine if the cleanest dirt was turned into tea form and that's basically what bamboo tea tastes like. The very first thing I noticed was the spike in energy as soon as I finished that drink. My mood would immediately be better, which is especially great when you're at work for 9 hours. I noticed that my nails are much stronger and shiny. I had just taken off acrylic nails when I started drinking the tea and was basically walking around with raggedy nails that wouldn't grow. Now I have fully outgrown my damaged nails and a new set of strong nails are growing nicely and have not broken yet. This is great because I typically have very weak nails. Lastly my hair is doing is growing nicely. I have 4C hair that all fell out about a year and a half ago in the nape area. since drinking this tea my nape hair has grown nicely from completely baldness. At first I thought my hair wasn't growing, because it wasn't happening as fast as I wanted. But after leaving it alone for a bit I realized that my hair was actually just filling out as well as growing. So my nape hair is getting fuller as well as longer. I am really happy with the results and will likely continue to drink the tea.

I struggle with collagen production. This helped so much. Not much comes in a box, but they’re still pretty affordable. Cost you about $15 a month which is really nice. The taste is really mild. I typically enjoy this tea with spearmint tea.

I love this tea so much. I made a half gallon and drank it all the 1st day. I use 2 tea bags and half cup of sugar. Really great tast!

Fair price for being organic. Tastes a bit like chamomile. Been drinking one a day. Hope to see some benefits in the upcoming weeks.

1/11/2026 - This is a tea with a very light flavor. It kind of reminds me of a very light Lipton tea, and has a grassy fragrance, Because the tea is so light in flavor, I have to use 2 bags at a time, which means I'll be purchasing some more. I might try other brands because this is my first time having bamboo tea. But I do like the taste and fragrance.

I have been taking vitamins to supplement my hair and nail growth for about six months faithfully, and by adding this tea to my daily diet, I have definitely noticed a significant improvement in my nail health (I am sure my hair health has improved but I am recording progress after only a week of consuming). After having only drinking this tea for five work days, one 20 oz glass steeped per day, my nails have become naturally shiny, appearing to be buffed, when I have done nothing to them whatsoever. I cut my nails the week prior and already have a significant amount of growth that I have not achieved prior to consumption having only taking my vitamins. Regarding the bags, they do not have a flavor to me, but they do have a very faint smell that isn't offensive, so the hot tea tastes like warm water with maybe a hint of tea, the flavor is not strong at all but I don't mind. I do notice upon a second attempt of steeping a bag it is not nearly as dark but since the flavor isn't strong I'll steep it a second time anyway. For the price and the results I have seen after only a week of use, I will absolutely continue use and would absolutely recommend to anyone with a desire for hair and nail health, and will drink this often enough (dilligently) to give it a chance to show the true capabilities of this tea.

I like the smell and taste - very comforting, but I think the hair and nail claims are a little fanciful. Uncle Lee's bamboo tea makes a pleasant drink and I would love to be able to have a cup or two most days, however, it is prohibitively expensive to order from the UK.

It has a good taste and quality

I'd never heard of bamboo leaf tea before but it's my new favourite now. This one and the mint are lovely and refreshing and I'm waiting for my hair to grow in thick and glorious!
