Q: how can the tips be cleaned so they can be used many times?

They give you many tips. If you are going to need more then that. My thoughts are to buy. Sewing needles the same dimensions to clean the tip out before it dries. By the way. I been using E6000 products for years and been extremely happy. Always allow overnight drying time for best results. It is also the only glue that I have found to glue two 2 pieces of glass together.

My experience is E6000. So far it has held everything I have used it on.

I keep the tips re-useable by storing them with a pin in the hole to keep the hole open.
