Royal Doulton Gordon Ramsay Block Knife Set, 6 Piece, Grey

Having a small kitchen, I'm always looking to de-clutter my counters, and a huge klunky knife block was an issue. This cylinder design is brilliant- fits on counter with a small footprint and is light so it's easy to slide and move . And the knife storage design - also brilliant- kudos to whomever came up with that bristle (?) idea! No more needing to fit the right knife into the corresponding right spot! And the knives themselves are excellent quality- very sharp , easy to hold and the variety of blade type is perfect. Iam more than happy with this knife set and would highly recommend!

Purchased for my mother for Christmas and she was absolutely ecstatic about how fabulous these knives are. She has cut herself three times because her knife set was probably 20 years old and these blades are definitely sharp. I don't think Gordon Ramsay is going to put his name on anything that is not quality and that goes for this unique set of knives.Having bought a set of knives myself storing them is always a question mark because of how much counterspace you have, if there could be little children around and then also the dulling of blades that happens from putting them in and out of a knife block. This very unique set up not only takes up very little counterspace but actually helps to condition the blades and protect them. It's quite heavy which makes it very sturdy on the counter. Just be careful if you're not used to using real chef knives. Would not be a bad idea down the road to purchase a sharpener to keep these blades in top condition for when you need them.

I cook a lot. Hobby. I had my kitchen updated and I wanted a good set of knives. I have had quite a few sets and individual knives. I wanted Westhoff knives but the set I wanted was not available at Williams and Sonoma. I found these on line and figured chef Ransey would not endorse something and put his name on it if it was not quality. I was right. I received these knives and put them to work immediately. High quality, balance and sharp out of the box. The holder is easily placed anywhere and the knives can be placed however you want them in the holder. Great price for the knives.

The media could not be loaded. I got this for my boyfriend for Christmas. He’s a huuuuuge Ramsay fan, and we needed a new knife set. These are incredibly well crafted and sharp. The weight of the handle makes for more control of the blade.The filament block was so confusing at first, but now I’m loving it. You can just stab a knife in anywhere, instead of having specific slots for each knife (that get super dirty). Make sure you wipe the knife dry after washing it.I’m really proud of this gift and I even kept the box with Ramsay’s face on the side hahah! Definitely recommend this set!

They are as sharp as razors, making chopping and dicing so much easier. The holder is gorgeous, upscale, innovative. I know the quality behind the Ramsay name. I’ve been extremely impressed by every restaurant and cookbook he’s produced. Very high level knives for the price.

I do like the knives - sharp, sturdy, good weight. We are not chefs but appreciate above average knives for cooking and these do the trick. The filament that they rest in is genius. So easy to pull out and use and you don’t feel like you’re damaging the knives. The color of the holder is disappointingly light gray. That doesn’t affect the quality of the knives, but I did want black since this is going to sit on my counter. The box falsely advertised the color.

I bought these for my boyfriend for his birthday last year in November. They came super sharp and have stayed sharp up until about a week ago. But he had them sharpened again in minutes. I love the block they come with!! The whole set is so pleasing to the eye. 100% recommend!

Excellent value and o have been very happy with ours. They hold an edge well, are comfortable to use and don’t take up a lot of space on the counter.
