I got this cabin air filter to try and improve the air that I breathe while on my commutes. I take air quality very seriously and have two air purifiers in my apartment along with air quality monitors in every room. This is my second time purchasing this air filter. The one on the left in the photo is about 6 months old. I have them side by side to compare a used one to a brand new one. It looks like it is very effective at catching visible debris. As for removing mold spores, pollen, and microscopic dust, I honestly do not know how well it is keeping the air clean without testing the air quality but the air filter seems very high quality compared to other brands. I wish there was third party testing, that is why i cant give it a 5 star review. Without testing the air quality myself, I'm not sure how effective the filter is. I also question how effective the carbon pellets are at removing VOCs because I notice only a minimal difference when I drive behind another vehicle with a bad exhaust, I can still smell it. It is very easy to install and the instructions are clear on which direction to install it. It is a perfect fit for my 2013 Honda Accord. I overall recommend it because this was the best option I could find on amazon for a HEPA cabin air filter.

2017 Honda accord: Good fit, fast and easy, just slide it into the slot. It’s a two minute job. Nothing to brag about. The filter has a solid frame surrounded by foam for a tight seal. I don’t have scientific tools to measure the filtering capability, but it definitely looks better than the all paper filters.

I used bosh filter for years. Recently I smell some odor so I replaced it but it did not work. I installed this HEPA filter and odor disappeared right away. I love it and I will use this from now on.

My mom has cancer right now and this was perfect for her to keep the car clean with clean air for her while she was being transported from home to doc visits.
