Crawl Space Recessed Foundation Vent Cover - Fits 8" H x 16" W Openings - Durable and Efficient Sealing Solution (White)

I used this to replace a foundation vent so I could route a dryer vent so I wouldn’t have to drill a hole through the foundation, worked great. Delivery was later than advertised by several days.

Purchased these to cover my crawlspace openings and they are exactly what I needed. A bit pricey for plastic but a good value if you can’t find them anywhere else. Ordered the black but they can be painted to match if desired.

These covers worked perfectly. I sealed off my crawlspace with these and installed a dehumidifier. They fit well and were easy to trim with a cut-off tool (I had one that had to be flush with a concrete edge.) I just stuck them in with silicone. I can't imagine I'll need to replace them during my lifetime. Maybe just re-caulk them. My only complaint is for a piece of molded plastic, the price seemed a little high.

Pricey for molded plastic, however they are strudy, easy to install and look good. I imagine they will last many decades. Mine are sealed in place with plain clear outdoor silicon and they are stuck to the bricks very securely. Also water and wind proof.

I have dehumidifier system in my crawlspace and needed all crawlspace vents sealed up. These were the perfect solution. Most fit in current vent space but some I had to use caulk and hold down with duct tape till caulk dried. Some of the vent space needed small amount of concrete chiseled off for covers to fit.

Seems strong and they are what they say they are. Wish they were half the price because they are a little expensive for what they do. All in all, it’s the only thing out there like it to buy - so I did.I’ve had them installed on the house a year or so now and these this look good. I enclosed my crawl space and added a dehumidifier and needed an enclosed fresh look to my vents around my house. These did the trick nicely, and seem to be high quality as well.

My vents are recessed into granite foundation. These vents are too large to fit into a typical sized vent. I had to place them on the granite and placed a wood beam against it to hold in place. Otherwise you will need some kind of glue to hold them over the space.

Excellent product that covers foundation opening. Make certain you measure the actual opening before you order. This company has multiple sizes. I used silicone to seal the covers to brick foundation. Silicone tubes with the gun works well. This allows you to remove them in the future if needed.
