No, it doesn't have vesa mounting.

Q: Is usb-c port compatible with dp alt mode?

Yes one of the usb c ports works as dp alt. The monitor has no battery. So when you do not plug the monitor to a wall port with the other usb c port for charging it with power it self from the computer or phone. Doesnt draw to much power tho my phone runs it pretty steady without draining to much battery.

Q: is there a way to control the brightness? that control is gray & inaccessible.
