Very realistic
I bought the lesser costing iguana from Amazon. There was one that was $9.99 and another that was more expensive. I chose to buy the lesser of the two and returned the other one. They were exactly the same. I would only recommend that if it’s a small child, especially under two that you watch that they don’t eat or chew on the tail where it could be a choking hazard for some smaller children. My toddlers at two years of age seem not to be concerned about chewing on it so far, they absolutely loved it though, and it was so realistic for our classroom.

Great item and looks realistic
At work, we have an infestation of iguanas..so I bought this and used it as a prank on my boss. He literally thought I was holding a real iguana. The mouth paint is not so realistic but his face wasn't pointing to my boss. Other than that, I like this little dude.

Very nicely detailed. I like the solid rubber flexible material ...
Cute. Very nicely detailed. I like the solid rubber flexible material of the one I got. Size: I thought pretty true to life. I held a real baby iguana in a science class once. It wasn't much bigger than this model. It reminds me very much of the Safari models I used to find in the 1990's, but couldn't afford or get my parents to buy for me. The one I got is dated 1997. It makes me wonder if these (or some of them) might be coming from a discontinued line. Most of the Safari castings I see now are hollow and usually less rubbery in texture. Also kind of fun: I noticed a recent 2015 mini tube version. Roughly 1- 1 1/2 inches w/o tail and about 3-4 counting it. Width about 1 cm. I picked it out of one of the bins at a gift store offering bulk quantities of all the nature minis. That version is obviously modeled after this one, a little bit less detailed, but still very realistic. I like having both for displays with my cast leaf and plant artwork.Only drawback (if it is one) is the paint on the mouth. I'm also not a fan of the bright red strip of paint on the rim of its mouth. Some day I plan to repaint mine to add to the realism, but isn't a high priority.

cute, but smaller than expected
so cute! i bought this for my grandson and he is going to love it. I will say that you need to be aware that the size is from nose to tail and is a lot smaller than i expected, but it's a cute little iguana that he will enjoy.

Good product but long tail could be torn off
These are made of durable material, have great detail work, and the color doesn’t wear off.The long tail on this particular figurine could be pulled off (or chewed) without much effort so I’d recommend one of their other lizard critters if you are buying for a younger kid.

Looks real but hard
This lizard looks real however, it’s hard and stiff. I wish it was made of a silicone material so it doesn’t hurt my grandson. It’s more for display
