The individual I purchase this regularly for suffers from premature nonenal (being pre-40 when this began). Despite good hygiene, the smell is overwhelming, particularly on fabrics and so can fill rooms. The science is effective: Japanese persimmon extract does indeed help eliminate the immediate skin odour as well as keep the grease more at bay, and certainly reduces exacerbation for laundry and linens. Hoping Amazon never discontinues the sale of this product, it not only benefits the individual but the household!

Bars are slightly smaller than regular bars but do their job. They produce a decent amount of Soap and smell and feel fresh on the skin. I use them 4 times a Week and it does the Job. More expensive than most Soap but the bars last for a while.

They should recommend this type of soap for everyone once they start puberty! It cuts B.O down significantly because it gets rid of the bacteria that contributes to it, leaving you with less offensive B.O. If used in combination with antiperspirant/deodorant, then expect to smell like freshness personified. However that's not the best part, it's the fact that you stay fresh for up to 3 days!! Miracle in a bar. I'd recommend this for everyone at all ages, teenagers, those that sweat more than "usual", those that are unable to access a shower often, those with hormonal imbalances, those who take a lot of medications and those that just want to smell good and feel fresh for longer.

This soap is lovely to use. Its smell is a cross between Pears and carbolic soap mixed. I find it addictive….using it means I have lost that musty old people’s smell that we oldies fear smelling of. Thoroughly recommend it

It's soap....it made no discernable difference. I tried it because, after menopause I've started to smell different. I don't like it and it made me paranoid ! Sadly, I'll not bother buying this again. I'll try something else.

This is amazing. Family member started to have that ‘old people smell’. I couldn’t even wash it out of his clothes. Got this, after the first shower it’s was significantly reduced. After a week of showers it was completely gone. He loves the soap as well. It’s been about 4 months now and no smell what so ever. If I can’t get it in the UK trust me I’ll buy a flight straight to Japan. If you’re looking to get rid of that awful smell, don’t hesitate, buy it.
