This charges my Gameboy Advanced, so WINNER
For a relatively inexpensive item, this does exactly what I intended it to do. No issues, doesn't get hot or anything, but fully charges my GB Advance from years ago. If you want a quick simple alternative to the original charger, you could do worse.

USB version didn’t work
We love the wall charger for the GameBoy. However the UsB one didn’t charge the device. Worth the money, as we’re now able to play when we weren’t before.

It fixed my GBA SP not charging
So before I purchased this product I’ve been using a standard USB charger brick connected to a GBA SP cable. My GBA SP would sometimes charge the battery and other times stop charging all together. After trying different USB bricks I decided to give this charger a go. Oh boy! It solved my charging issue and now my GBA SP fully charges the battery.

Tight fit.
It works with my gameboy sp. The fit in the charging port is not very good. Not very crisp. The fit is a little tight for my liking. It still works though.

Just what we needed
Bought as a replacement for the original game boy charger. Item works great as a replacement. If you are in need of a new charger, I would recommend this one.
