This toy is awesome. I love the way the child can take it apart and put it back together. For me is like a learning tool. Something that will bring out the independent hidden mechanic in both boys and girls. At least when they grow up they will have an idea of how to change their tires and love race cars.

I bought this car for my son's third birthday. He is very tactile and enjoys figuring out how things work, so I loved the idea of giving him something that he enjoys (cars), along with the opportunity to strip it down and put it together piece by piece. He forgot all about his other birthday gifts and played with this very intently for the first two and a half hours out of the box. It was easy for him to pick up on which button tightens and which one loosens, and I appreciate that all of the pieces have a resting point so he doesn't have to hold them in place while he's assembling. We've had the toy for about a week now and he runs in when he gets home each day and grabs it to take it apart and put it back together, again and again. I also appreciate four extra tires and screws being included in the box. We're pretty good at keeping toy components together, but with these being small, I'm sure we'll need at least a couple of those extras at some point. The only downside is that the car lights and sounds can only be turned off by taking the car apart and flipping a switch. Otherwise, they seem to run incessantly. Thankfully, my son doesn't mind just keeping them off.

Best toy for active little ones! Easy to store and promotes engineering skills and cause/effect learning. Looks just like the hit wheels my boys love but bigger. Would definitely recommend as gift.

My four year old son adores this toy. He spends so much time taking it apart and putting it back together in different ways, and he only rarely needs my help with anything. I will say that the engine piece which randomly starts making car sounds and lighting up is super annoying, but we put a piece of tape over the speaker part to make it less deafening and usually just keep that part turned off anyway. Too bad you can't turn on just the lights; they look nice and my son enjoys them, but they come with the loud annoying sounds and turn off and on pretty unpredictably. It doesn't really seem to matter though since he still plays with it all the time. Oh, and there are a couple of extra screws and a full set of extra tires, so if a piece gets lost, it doesn't have to be the end of the toy! I really appreciated that. This toy is overall great and made a wonderful gift for our son; I'd definitely recommend it to anyone with a child in their life who likes cars or putting things together/taking things apart. It's endlessly fun.

This is such a great product. My 4 year old received it as a gift and it didn’t take him long at all to work the drill and take apart/ put together the car by himself. He loves being able to change it from the convertible to the race car. Even his 2 year old and 6 year old brothers enjoy it. When I looked at reviews a main complaint was that it was not easy access to turn the lights and sound on and off... well, they fixed this so it is easy to turn them on and off just from the bottom of the car. Great fun, as well as good for fine motor skills and making them feel really great after putting their own car together.

My 4 year old daughter absolutely loves this and spent several hour over the weekend playing with it. It's mainly aimed at boys aged up to 8 years old I think but its also fun for girls too. It does have small parts though so if you are buying this for a young child you would need to supervise them. I like the fact that it came with everything we needed, including the batteries for the drill. So many toys these days do not come with batteries and I find that annoying. I nearly bought a kit that looked almost identical to this one by different supplier but was put off by many reviews saying that the wheels did not go round after you assembled it. This listing says it is version 2 and I can confirm the wheels do go round freely. This is the first take apart toy I have bought and will definitely be buying more as they are so good for the kids hand-eye coordination and concentration and I think my daughter will get more out of them than toys that cannot be built and rebuilt. It really gives her a sense of achievement and excitement when she has built it. This take apart car comes with 30 pieces so you can make many different type of cars with it with different customizations. You can make a standard car or one that looks more sporty. The drill is really cool as you press the top or bottom of the trigger button depending on if you are screwing or unscrewing the screw. My daughter got this the wrong way a few times initially but now has leaned to get it right. The drill also has an over-tighten protection in it which was an unexpected feature for a toy of this price. It comes in nice packaging and I definitely recommend this toy for any child up to about 8 or 9 years old. Really good value at $20.

I ordered this for my Grandson for his 4th Birthday. He's great at legos and building other things so I thought he would enjoy building this car. It was delivered to the wrong house so I was not able to give it to him at his Birthday party but I gave it to him last night and he enjoyed building the cars. He built them a few times in the two different ways to build them. Then he just lost interest. Also the way the drill is designed it was impossible for him to run it in reverse to remove the screws. I had to do that for him. It would be nice if there were more than just 2 ways to build the cars. Also why are there two sets of tires when you can only build one vehicle at a time?

The first thing to note is that there are many versions of this car that look the same. The first time I bought it we ended up sending it back because it just wouldn't stay together. I then bought the Think Gizmos version which we found to be spot on. The pieces connect easily, the little drill works as it should. The best thing about this version though compared to competitors is that you can actually turn the sound off without disassembling the car - anyone responsible for a child will tell you that noisey toys get a big long in the tooth fairly quickly so this was very welcome. My son is 4 and very much enjoys this, I'd say that was an ideal age.

Mio figlio si diverte a montare e smontare la macchinina e a creare molte forme, ha differenti modi di costruire la vettura, cabrio, tuning, si possono cambiare le ruote con altre, si possono montare gli accessori e la cosa divertente è che tutto può farlo insieme all'avvitatore fornito. Il giocattolo è di robusto materiale, facili da maneggiare, è bello giocare insieme al proprio bambino, vi divertite tantissimo.

Se lo regalé a mi hijo de 2 años. En la caja pone a partir de 3 años pero yo lo que hago es siempre que juega con este juguete estar muy pendiente para que no se meta nada en la boca. Lo único que podría ser un peligro son los tornillos. A mi hijo le encanta montarlo y desmontarlo aunque necesita ayuda porque es bastante complejo para su edad. El envío muy rápido como siempre y sin ningún problema. Juguete muy recomendado
