This will make your pizza process much simpler
I was... reluctant to spend $60 on 6 silicone containers, but the reviews convinced me to give this a shot. I had already spent $600 on a stand mixer to help me with the kneading, and $150 for a pizza steel because obviously. I was batch-making my dough and storing it in the freezer, before putting it into old plastic cheese boxes for a week. Those cheese boxes turned my beautiful dough balls into rectangular slabs that were very difficult to shape, and even getting the dough out of them was a hassle. These containers make my process much more straightforward. Freeze the dough. Defrost the dough for a night in the fridge. Portion the dough (250g balls for me - fit perfectly, I can't imagine 300g balls would be an issue) and put it in the containers. Let it ferment in your fridge for a week, and then just take the containers out and put them next to your oven for 3-4 hours for proofing. Then you just take the ball out (carefully) and shape it.These containers literally both save time AND make the process easier in the handling of the dough. They are a joy to use, and they more than pay for themselves (especially if you make pizza every week).

Does what it says and then some
I expected a simple container that would keep separate dough portions. Well, it does exactly that, but that's not why I'm taking the time to write a review. These containers are perfectly sized for a ball of dough for 12-18" pizza. So for those of us who are Ooni or Roccbox owners, this is perfect. The silicone material releases the dough just fine (if your dough sticks, perhaps it's too wet?). It's also the best way to freeze or defrost dough for later. Portion it out into individual containers, freeze for a few hours, then put all of the frozen dough balls into a plastic freezer bag. Take one or two out and put them back into the containers to defrost overnight in the fridge.OK, so that's what it's *supposed* to do. Now for the rest...- Each one is perfectly sized for sides. Use one each for sauce, cheese, veggies, sausage/pepperoni, etc.- Really convenient to reach in and grab contents, then replace the cover without a "snap" or locking lid.- Quick storage for other food too. Got half an avocado left? Don't bother with plastic wrap or a Ziploc bag, just drop it in one of these silicone containers.- Easy cleanup. Either run it through the dishwasher or hand-wash or for many things, just wipe it down.

Perfect size for a 2 person pizza dough
I make pizza dough and store it in the freezer, these make a nice place to store my pizza dough, ready to pull out, thaw, and bake in my pizza oven. I normally use up this amount in two weeks. The dough pops right out of the container when I'm ready to prepare the dough for the toppings, each container will make a nice 2 person pizza.

Great quality, but too small.
The dough containers appear to be of very high quality, they worked great for raising dough, but I felt they were too small, even for a 250g dough ball. When proofing a 250g dough ball, the dough raised beyond the lid, popping the lid off. I have subsequently purchased Babadoh Big Pizza Dough Silicone Proofing Containers and have found the size is more appropriate for proofing dough balls that weight 250g.

A necessity for regular pizza makers
We have pizza parties with our friends on a regular basis. These are the perfect size for storing the dough to bring to the party. We've probably used them over 100 times and they still look and work like new. Dishwasher and freezer safe!
