Successfully achieved Auburn after 12 years!!
SUMMARY: I believe this dye can give you the expected colour, regardless of which one you purchased.HOWEVER: It's important that you bear a few things in mind and are willing to experiment a few times, and sometimes with a combination of different factors mixed up - such as the type of developer you use, processing time, colour of your brows at the time, even tools you use to apply the mixture to your brows, etc.DETAIL: Ok, so I asked a Q the other day, but no one responded so I had to see for myself.I finally achieved the Auburn I wanted. I will be playing around with variations of this dye depending on whether my hair is Pink, Ginger, Auburn, Purple, Red or any nuance in between. It's important to realise, if you do not already have hair that is within the depth range of mid blonde eyebrows natural or dyed - it is probably gonna be most advisable you lighten up your brows first, however with 3% or 6% peroxide and no more ( I don't remember seeing this specifically mentioned in instructions, this comes from 12 years of experimenting with brow dyes ) .My brows are naturally dark brown, and applying the dye with Bblonde 6% developer did not lighten those hairs, however it certainly turned the already lighter ( due to previously being dyed ) hairs the Auburn shade I desired.Another reason it's important to work with an initially lighter brow colour is because this like most dyes will process darker the longer you leave it, and so working with a lighter brow enables you to experiment in depth of tone from the dye's lightest to darkest result, if needed.Checking result occasionally as the dye is processing is necessary, a number of factors can affect this from application to application, so always do.NOTES: Important to also cleanse brows before, I do this with gentle soap and a cotton pad, just as I do when removing the dye. Avoid using rubbing alcohol before, after may be fine, but before just makes the dye sink in deeper to skin making it harder to remove. For uniformity, cleansing before makes that more likely too, and also making a mixture that contains double ( or more if needed ) of the portions recommended. Reason for this is, if you have thick hairs, that can stick out, like mine, having double the portion enables you to smooth them down with the rest of the brow. A quick way to check for any sticking out hairs is to turn your head and look at your brows from side angles, and then just keep reapplying to those hairs and smoothing them down with the rest of the brow, until you no longer notice any more sticking out hairs.BUT: At the end of everything, your experimentation with any type of brow dye and developer is what will help to inform you best on what to do. I'm just really appreciative this worked for me, Auburn is next to non existent for non scalp hair dyes, and so purchase knowing that just like any product that can vary due to the number of factors involved, you're simply just gonna have to play around with it - though never ignoring instructions on safety. But it'll be more than worth it.

Applicator needed? It was not clear when I bought.
I never wrote anything negative about a product before. But I am writing this cos I am disappointed with this one. I applied the cream in the tube and waited for 5 minutes, nothing happened and waited further 5 minutes. My skin painfully burns. I washed the cream off. I am still having a very sore skin around the eyebrows. I figured you needed an applicator or something? It was NOT clear on your page. I was mis-sold the product I feel. So my hair colour didn’t change at all and all I am left with a burning skin. Please update your product info and the pictures to explain that too!!!

Application tool good for the application of mascara. Many supplied with product are useless.
Can't say haven't tried it yet but have dyed my lashes for years.

Doesn’t last
Unfortunately, although I like the colour it doesn’t have staying power like other brands so won’t be buying again.

Medium brown developed darker than expected
I used the medium brown tint with Salon Style Lashtint developer and it worked fine, so you don’t need to use any developer with it. Tint mixes orange but goes on similar to a regular dark brown tint. Was hoping medium would be lighter so I will try another brand next time.
