That is a great Question! The Dove Women's Lavender & Jasmin Antiperspirant Stick is an antiperspirant and deodorant, we just do not put the deodorant on the label anymore.

Q: Why does this have such a strong perfume scent, used to be more vanilla?

Mine has no vanilla scent, it was the lavender one and I really like it.
