Q: 1. How high is the seat from the floor? 2. How wide is the base on the floor?

The seat is 17" high and the base is 17.75"W.

Q: I work with young adults in a classroom setting and leaning back in chairs happens...will this chair holdup to leaning back on the back lets?

If you have tile floors accidents will happen because the rounded steel will slip easily. The chairs have non slip "feet" but not on the rounded corners. You need a different chair unless you have carpet.

Q: does the chair back gouge the wall when pushed up against it or do the legs stick out far enough that the seat back can’t touch the wall?

The seat back touches the wall if the chair is pushed against the wall. The chair back is not rigid plastic-I don't think it would damage a wall if pushed against it.

Q: How do you get in touch with the seller? UPS tracking is waiting on the seller to drop off the package for shipment.

I HAD TO THROW MY CHAIR AWAY BECAUSE THE LEGS WERE BENT AND COULDN'T BE STRAIGHTENED.
