Turned them upside down and attached to non-adjustable bars, added grips and go to town

Where it clamps it's 25.4mm
But the bars taper to 22.2mm. So if you plan to install levers or anything keep that in mind. If you use bar tape you won't notice. The material is indeed aluminum. The thickness of the bar is the same as regular track drops. Smaller diameter and same thickness make the bars stiffer than regular bars. Which is a plus for me. You can really yank on these. The last inch in the bar ends have thinner walls so that you can fit regular barend plugs that come with bar tape.
