Universal Air Conditioner SW 11178C HVAC Pressure Transducer

A relative's Smart car threw a B1060 (a/c pressure sensor shorted to ground) code after the air conditioning stopped working. After figuring out that this part was the same one that was used on late 2000s Mercedes Benzs I ordered it and installed it. After charging, the air conditioning is working now! Word of warning, there is no valve behind this sensor so you will need to have the system evacuated before its removal. This is the only pressure sensor on that vehicles a/c system, however there is also an evaporator temperature sensor that has caused a lot of trouble for people with this model. If your a/c is not working, find a scanner that can pull a/c codes (most don't have this capability) and narrow down the problem. Then find your friend with the smallest hands to help you, it's nightmarishly tight under the front hood.

This worked perfect for my 2009 smart fortwo. My ac kept turning on and off or somedays it would stay on but then after a 30 min drive the ac would blow warm air. This fixed everything perfect and was the cheapest i could find.

It made my AC ressurge from the dead world. It works as OEM part for my 2009 C300 4matic.

Installed easily and is working fine.

I used this sensor on my 07 Merc CLS550. It works good and is much cheaper than others I've seen.

Sensor did not fit SLK350 -05 (OEM 2110000283 as stated in the description) Maybe it would be possible to install if the plug was cut and deformed to fit the this sensor, but I don't want to damage my car.

So far so good.
