Give it a chance! I originally placed a return for the item: couldn't figure out how it attached to the crutch; hand grips too slippery. But the next day (when I wasn't so tired of crutching all day) I was determined to make it work. I used a seam ripper to take off the velcro closures as I was unable to get them open with one hand. And after looking at the Picture on the box, I figure out (after several attempts) how to assemble all the straps. The hand-cushions are a great idea but just too slippery so I gave them to my husband for his shop. DON'T GIVE UP. I've found out just how handy this pouch really is!! I no longer have to strangle myself with a cord around my neck for my cell phone! Nor do I have to hobble into the kitchen to get a glass of water when I have a handy water bottle in my pouch! THANK YOU for this crutch attachment! It has made my life a whole lot easier!

I mainly ordered this to help carry my larger water-bottles, even though I could carry it with my finger that does start to hurt after awhile. I was a little worried that it wouldn’t fit, but you can see by the picture that it does fit, you might not be able to use the other pocket with it but you can still carry stuff like keys if needed. It was also easy to set up. I already different cushion support on my crutch handles.

Broke my leg and had to use crutches for 2 months- this was SO clutch and helpful. All components are easily secured with velcro. The hand cushions were very comfortable. Most importantly I loved the pouch. It was not bulky. I would primarily use it to hold my phone. It can only hold a small water bottle and unfortunately couldn't hold both phone and water bottle simultaneously (Hence 4 stars). The smaller pouch I kept my ID, card and cash because you can't really carry a purse while using crutches. If you are not allowed to do any weight bearing I would highly recommend getting this!!

I wish I'd ordered these weeks ago! This is a great solution to having no hands to carry things with. This takes care of anything I need to carry around the house. I'm currently totally non-weight-bearing on one foot, so I'm using a knee scooter with a basket when out and just chucking my purse in there. As I start walking again I'll need the crutches more and the scooter less, so will probably have to pare down the amount of junk I lug around. I do think I'll be able to fit all the critical purse stuff in here since I bought two.Other buyers have reported receiving one hand-pad with their bag, but I received two pads with each bag. :)Other buyers have reported difficulty in setting up the bag due to lack of directions. I can confirm that my order did not include directions, but I found the setup method to be straightforward. It took me about five minutes to unbox and set up both bags. The only thing that took me a moment to figure out was that the top straps which secure the bag to the handhold (or top) of the crutch were not missing, but inside the main pouch of the bag itself.Another note: I was surprised at how roomy these are! I was able to fit my 20 oz coffee thermos inside! YES!!!

Fun and functional! I am able to use this in lieu of a purse while I am on crutches. Who knows when I will be off of them so in the meantime I’ll make sure that I am able to keep my personal items near.

This bag attaches quickly and stays attached. Big enough to hold a liter water bottle, or a variety of thermoses. Also handy for a paperback book, bringing in the mail, or any other smallish items. I keep my bicycle gloves in there when not using the crutches (gel bike gloves are the BEST for crutch pain in the hands). It's super helpful, and attracts attention from people who use or have used crutches without this essential item. A buddy saw mine and immediately ordered one.Note, there are two pockets, both with Velcro closures. The big pocket I never needed to close, since it was usually for a bottle. But when when reaching into it, my bicycle glove's fabric would snag on the hook side of the Velcro. So that's a negative. But the smaller pocket is good for your phone, keys, or similar sized items for which you might want a secure Velcro's closure.No rating for comfort. What's up with these weird rating categories??

Don't let those stock pictures fool you that the seller is showing. This thing is not going to stretch out like that. It looks like garbage but it works fine. It's ugly as sin. It's clumpy and bunches up like crazy and it is not naturally fitting. I tried so many different ways to make it fit right adjusting my husband's crutches but it's just not a great product. If you're desperate, it's a solid 2 or 3 out of 5. The photos have got to be 100% photoshopped. The good thing I have to say about this product is it hasn't fallen apart. that's about it. You want cheap, well "cheap'" then this is your product i guess. There's a lot more fun products out there. Just search on Amazon for "Crutch Bag." Tons of better options.

I had no idea how much this would help. It's a game changer. Glasses, phone, keys... It can all travel with me without a purse.
