Excellent product
This is a great product, very well made. It does not smell bad. The cotton cover is soft and high quality, removes for washing. The loops at the ends add some versatility in wrapping it on various parts of the body. It stays cold only about 10 mins after a full freezing. Because of this it is better suited as a hot pack. The weight of the beads helps the heat sink deep into your tissues. It stays hot about 15-20 mins. It is pricey but worth the extra money because of the high quality.Hot gel packs are more likely to burn you or to leak, they also give off a plastic smell when heated. Clay beads are a better solution. There are not many clay bead products out there. Thrive brand also has a similar hot/cold clay bead pack on Amazon, it is also a 5 star product. It is larger than this one, but itʻs cover is polyester rather than cotton. Both are great items, the Thrive is cheaper.

I am very happy with this hot/cold wrap
I am very happy with this hot/cold wrap! Not only is it easy to heat in the microwave, or cool in the freezer, the removable covering is great to wash when the wrap gets dirty... and I give it a lot of use! Very pleased that I got it!

It’s ok
It’s a nice length and I like the hand straps at the end, but it doesn’t stay hot very long. I do still use it though.

Cover NOT removable for washing.
This has a zipper and does have a separate liner so you would assume that you can remove the cover for washing. This is impossible to do. The zipper does NOT unzip. It has a METAL tab (not supposed to use metal in microwaves.) So I undid a little stitching at the zipper end to be able to remove the liner with clay beads. See the round button thing on the end? There is one on each end which goes through all fabrics to keep the insides in place. Plus they are most likely also metal. It is also much heavier than most microwave packs and I've had lots.
