I have pale skin and when this foundation arrived and I saw the shade of it, I didn't think it would work for me at all. It is a tad darker than my actual skin tone, but when I blended it in using a a slightly damp sponge, it added that little bit of colour and brightness that I needed. I have been using it daily, all summer, and now it is my go to!The finish of this foundation is very natural looking and imparts a radiance and a glow to your skin, making it appear healthy. Great for mature skin. It offers light to almost medium coverage, it won't cover every blemish but it will certainly even out your complexion. My favourite foundation that I used to use until it was discontinued was the IT Cosmetics CC + Illumination and this is the closest I have found to that. To me it is very similar in how it makes your skin look. This is a beautiful foundation. Well done, Lavera!

Lesser evil as far as putting chemicals on my face for vanity. But this foundation blends well, lubricate dry skin and last all day. I bought 2 bottles with different shades and mix them for darker or lighter effects. Coverage is great.

I was a bit concerned when I ordered this but I needn't have been. Yes, the texture is a bit thicker & yes, it is a bit shiny at the start, but actually, it's one of the best foundations I've bought for my skin. It looks nice on & it doesn't feel heavy or sticky either.

For my wifes skin, this foundation did not work. It seems a little greasy and shines on the skin. The only thing she like is that it smells nice.

I've decided to edit this review because after a few times wearing this foundation, I'm liking it more and getting used to more of a shiny finish. It also provides good coverage.I really wanted to like this foundation as I love the fact it's quite natural compared to others. I've used a Lavera cream 2 in 1 foundation for years but unfortunately this doesn't seem to be available anymore.I have used the Lavera liquid foundation in the past quite a few years ago and found it OK but I think it may be a new formula perhaps.This foundation is thick to apply and quite heavy, I used a brush to apply to try and distribute it evenly and ended up also needing to blend with my fingers.The coverage is good but unfortunately there is allot of shine, so good if you like that look. If you prefer a more matte effect, powder is absolutely essential. I did use the Lavera loose powder on top of the foundation and whilst this took some of the shine away, my skin still has that shiny look I do not like, particularly because I find it enhances and shows up my lines and wrinkles!I bought the cool ivory and this colour works well for my skin, I normally use ivory shades as I'm quite pale. I do have a slight tan from summer, so time will tell with how it looks when I am paler. I'm thinking for very pale complexions it may be slightly too dark.I will probably use it for daily wear rather than a night out.

Easy to apply, easy to blend, looks great, not cakey. Exactly what I wanted! :)

I've been buying this brand of foundation for years but they've recently changed the ingredients. It used to be light and would glide on. Now it's oily and feels heavy on my skin. Really disappointing as this was my go to brand for cruelty free products

This foundation is really the best!!!! I was cooking, my cheeks was red so I thought I will test this, it really covered all the redness, I'm amazed by this!!! Highly recommend

I have very sensitive skin. I had been treated for years for chronic skin problems. So I feel itchy when I use regular products. But this foundation is feel comfortable to me. No itchy! Actually I know Lavera is a good brand, but I didn't expect the foundation because the base product is famous. However, it has excellent application and adhesion. It is better than expected. One thing that's unfortunate is that there are no variety of colors. I'm an East Asian with a light skin tone, this color is a little dark for my skin. I wish there were more options. That’s why I chose four stars
