Works Well for Sleep
I wore these as part of a sleep study to see if people slept better after wearing them for a month. I did. When the study ended I bought a pair and have been wearing them every morning since.

So effective for getting light in my eyes first thing!
I've been using these since 2021 and have found them to be super effective at getting light into my eyes first thing, no matter what season or whether we're in standard or daylight savings time. This supports my circadian rhythm so my body knows when it's time for sleep, which gets harder and harder in perimenopause. It's a treasured part of my morning ritual and evidence is mounting about how important sunlight in your eyes first thing is. They're a little on the big side but are absolutely worth the time it takes to get used to them. They hold a charge for a long time even when I use them for the entire timed cycle every morning!

Great adjunct therapy along with morning coffee and SSRI medication!
This has been great to use every morning. No need to waste time going outside now. Can use while conveniently watching TV or reading, or right after breakfast. The only thing that has helped boost energy, besides coffee every morning. It also pairs well with daily SSRI medicine!

The nose bridge is horrible...
Well this is just a quick review after the first few days - I can't really comment on the sleep yet. However, as many others have pointed out I can't emphasis enough how horrible and poorly designed the nose bridge is. It just digs into your nose. I don't think I could engineer a more poor nose bridge if I tried. I would also like to point out one other terrible design flaw. Instead of being able to put these on like normal glasses you have to slide them on over head - like a hat. The ear rests do not have *ANY* outward flex, and if you have even a medium sized head - they will not have any give and instead you have to pull the glasses down over your head. This is just bad engineering in my professional opinion - they should be double hinged or something so you have a little give like normal eyeglasses - the plastic they used is so rigid you really don't have any outward give to slide them on like normal glasses. Also, when you try to slide them off your face like normal glasses, the plastic on the ear rests is so tensioned inward that they kind of scrape toward your eyeballs. So that's my preliminary review - I know this is 2nd Gen or whatever but apparently you guys never actually tested them on real people? I'll keep updating this based on my tests and / or if they get sent back...

Four years out : Worth the price; (and is the best single option)
Four years out : for circadian rhythm problems, better than almost anything else I have tried. Unquestionably the best SINGLE option. About a year ago, I ADDED the Circadian Optics lights. I would not use either alone now. Circadian Optics is brighter, but the Re-Timer lets you move about home / office. The CO lights are so bright they border on painful, making sustained use during a session impractical. The Re-Timer is gentle and can be used continuously for the recommended period. (The RT has a built-in timer.) Again, using BOTH after awakening is what works best for me, punctuating the RT with bursts from the CO. For me, they are NOT a “cure,” but they are more helpful (and less dangerous) than almost all pharmaceutical options. If you have diagnosed circadian rhythm problems, or think you might have such problems, chances are good you will find these worth the price. Four years out, the internal batteries are beginning to fail. Time to replace them. $169 amortized over 3/4 years is CHEAP! Even generic pharmaceuticals ($10 monthly) cannot touch that. Previous review : “A bit of a miracle device that has done more to improve my sleep pattern than anything else (so far).”

Helps a little
Re-timer seems to help me a little with insomnia. But for me, compared to going outdoors for at least an hour or more on a sunny day, going outdoors has a far more powerful effect on my well being and ability sleep than using this device. So it's useful for days when can't find the time go outdoors, but Re-timer can't compete with mother nature.

Very effective, but needs some human factor expertise
UPDATE: After years of wearing these, they continue to be very effective for me. The effectiveness of the lights used as instructed, has been amazing. I've finally stopped using over-the-counter sleep aids for first time in 17 years. It took almost four weeks, but I couldn't be more pleased. The drawback, the glasses are awkward to wear. Too much weight on nose piece, because I have to put temples up high on the sides of my head to prevent them from falling off. A good "Human Factors" expert could correct these issues. The lights work, the fit is terrible. I'm enjoying the ability to reset my brain when we travel. Now...get the fit corrected and you'll get five stars!

High Quality and they work
I am very impressed with the quality of these Re-timer glasses. Frame is sturdy, led's are crisp and clear, nice case, clear instructions. Charges quickly and lasts well. I wrote for support and got a quick clear and supportive response. These are backed by solid research and are marketed by the university that developed them. Whether they work for you depends to some extent on your particular type of sleep issue. I wake very early and get less than 6 hours sleep; they are helping a lot just like a light box did, but the light is less "shocking" or disturbing like a light box can be. I don't find them uncomfortable as some have, Since they are a medical device I understand they are built for efficacy and also built to fit a wide range of face/head sizes etc. so I dont expect them to fit/feel like a pair of Ralph Lauren glasses.

I absolutely love these light therapy glasses. They are so convenient to wear because you don't have to sit in one spot continuously during treatment. I have utilized a regular light therapy box in the past and I would say that the blue-green light from the re-timer glasses works much more effectively for me. I wear these glasses first thing in the morning for an energy boost at the beginning of my day and then I wear them again just before dinner to give me another jolt of energy for the evening hours. Just don't wear the glasses past 5 PM if you don't want your regular bedtime to be affected. This is a wonderful non medicated, natural way to give yourself a mood boost and additional energy, especially during the winter months. I Highly recommend buying from Amazon as the product website itself is much more expensive.

I use this in the mornings and find it helps wake me up and gives my mood a boost. Very comfortable to wear and the design means I can keep moving and doing stuff while they work. Highly recommend - helping me get my body clock sorted as I am a long term shift worker. Also hoping they will fend off my usual winter blues.

Fits very well, arrived quickly, top quality case. Glad I spent the money to buy a made in Australia product, the quality of the build reflects this. Would recommend without reservation.

Really like the fit has an adjustable nose part. I love that I can walk around and get my sun on in the morning. Seems well made and easy to charge and turn on.

The effect on the plants are unknown at this stage as it will take several months to evaluate the product further to that the actual use of the light ie different lighting applications brightness or actual best light spectrum to use is not forthcoming or shown in the information/ instructions not happy Jan
