I used the small headphone slot on my Spark 40 and quarter inch Return slot on the back of my Boss Katana so that I could piggy-back blue tooth backing tracks from my IPad thru the Spark 40 to be hughly amplfied thru and by the big Boss Katana amplifier. Plug your guitar into the Spark 40 because the Boss amplifier will be out of the loop except for its larger speaker. It freaking works great!

These things are truly garbage. I only buy them because Amazon is convenient. I buy 5 orders of these cheap cords every few months. Some of them are shorted out directly out of the package, and some work well for a couple months, before shorting out and losing function on one of the earphone sides. Buy them knowing they may work for a month or so, best case scenario.
