You can't define the keys; it's so quiet.
Hi, I bought this for my Son. His comments: I read a review that commented about preferring the lights to be all white vs multi-colored when look at it. I 100% agree. You may not change the colors, nor the settings for the volume/light degree. The Num-pad must be tapped when you power-off the machine when you power on again. Otherwise when you type your password the 10-key won't be noticed. The Font of the keys is Exactly as per normal. None of the keys are hard to read or have some kind of odd.."dirt"-thing on the top. I wish the color was white for all keys since you don't have a choice. During the day, or brighter room you shouldn't have any problems seeing the keys if they're not illuminated. The keys are made in such a way that I can see them now without "muscle memory". So Hunt-And-Peck is easy. Again, as long as you have a a bit of light.I wanted this because of the volume knob AND because the keys actually match the screenshots. The color brightness can be controlled outside of the knob. So either give the user the ability to change it via software OR..make the knob volume control by default - as it is..I can deal, but I'd change that. I'm not a "Gamer" but I enjoy them sometimes...but, but --- BUT...there are moments when you're talking to someone that came into the room..or whatever, and reaching over the slide you finger across the knob to hush all volume would be great by default. Maybe you're watching a movie, or YouTube, whatever. It far, it's easy to clean. I really like that it's not loud as some mechanical keyboards are. I tap the Tab and Cap-Lock sometimes, but that's me and I realize it. Plug it into USB 2.Zero or 3.Zero, and it functions well. IF you have a problem with the USB port where suddenly Arrow Keys make a game move where W, S, A, D did, the remove the old keyboard from Devices. In short: Once you get past the odd defaults of the knob, and such..it's a really cool keyboard. Maybe they'll change this stuff after reading? If so, I'll buy some more. Also, each keyboard, though good use, should last over 10 years or ....more! I have keyboards that are 30+ that aren't meant for Windows or Mac that function very, very well.

Nice compact keyboard.
I prefer a compact keyboard for the area where I work and play. I am a writer and prefer black, backlit models. This keyboard is overall great! No light leakage between keys, letters and numbers well illuminated, and yes, we have a printscreen key which my other keyboard similar to this one lacked. I have not had it long enough to know if the keys will stand up to my heavy usage and not wear off, but I have hope. The keyboard would have been a shining 5 stars if not for two things. The larger issue with it that I find I am still trying to get used to is the font used on these letters and numbers, especially the numbers. The 6 looks like a G, the 8 looks like an alien letter, and the 9 looks like an upside down G. The A looks like a broken triangle, and the S looks like a 5.The B looks like the 8 , like an alien letter. The broken 0 looks like parenthesis. ().When one is typing quickly in writing zone, those are a bit disconcerting and I really wish they had used a plain old font so I don't have to pause and think what the hell is that? Oh yes, its a B , and that is the A. Because yes, I am a hunt and peck typist, and need to read my keys.If there is ever a future model of this keyboard, please consider normalizing that font. The 2nd issue si a small one. The keys clack loudly. Haven't had a keyboard do that in a long time, and it can be distracting.Overall however, I like this keyboard.

Pretty cool for a cheap keyboard…
It lights up, no color changing, just on or off by key press… but it works and the key caps can come off for replacement or cleaning. Typing on it feels somewhere between a soft and a fully mechanical.

Solid simple small keyboard
If you are looking for a small footprint keyboard that isn't cheap feeling or boring this keyboard will be a good choice. If you are wanting a very customizable full size keyboard then this will be disappointing. The keyboard has noticeable clicks which I personally enjoy and there is good spacing between the keys. The RGB controls did take a little research to learn how to adjust colors and brightness, but after I learned the tricks it became simple enough.I very much enjoy the small footprint this keyboard has compared to 99% of keyboards while at the same time not feeling cramped.

Very comfortable and quiet
It has the feel of a mechanical keyboard without the noise. I didn't need the backlights, but they work.

20 dollars.
I was looking for a keyboard that wasn't flat like most of the ones I've had to use the last few years. I also wanted one that wasn't super clicky like my kiddos. I also needed the numpad. This keyboard has all that, and only at 20 bucks. The lights are whatever to me, but it is nice to have something to see the keys if its dark. Wish there was just a white glow instead of rainbow. It also wobbles on me unless I am using the feet to prop it up, which is how I'm using it anyways so whatever. It is really quiet though compared to any of my other keyboards. Overall, for this price, I recommend.
