I Can Become an Electro Wiz: Electricity

I bought this kit for my 4th grade son to supplement his learning about electricity in school. I was worried the parts would be flimsy after reading other reviews but they were not. They were more than adequate for the purposes of the kit and superior to what we received from his online virtual school for their unit on electricity. The text in the booklet is spare but an advantage to this is that my son worked through the kit all on his own (which hadn't been my original intention but he couldn't wait for me to go on to the next experiment). His work with this kit really firmed up his understanding of electricity and key vocabulary terms. He is now using parts from the kit to work on other experiments he's found in books from the library, again all on his own initiative. Worth every penny.

This was a great product for science and technology portion of STEM. This kit really let my daughter understand the concepts being taught for school and she was able to actually apply them outside of the set in real life and she is only six. I highly recommend the kit, you will need a battery. We used a 9 volt as the smaller ones didn’t work.

this is a pretty cool set. All you need is a curious child and a D-cell battery and there are a number of really fun experiments that you can try (and succeed at) while teaching your little one. The only wish I had about this product was that there were more experiments. However, for what it is, I believe it is a good introduction to how electricity works and the experiments make an often-times dry topic fun.

My 8 year old son LOVED this. We went through it together and then he played with it by himself for days. The booklet needed to be edited a tad better - two words in the Word Search that were not mentioned in the lesson. Our wires were colored incorrectly but we just "experimented" and flipped them and it worked! But all in all, I would definitely recommend this. Have fun and learn something important - what more can you ask for?

This was one of the first things my 7.5 year old wanted to play with after receiving itFor Christmas. He was able to execute each project and feel successful. Learning can be fun with toys like this.
