No substitute for French moutard.
I have been looking for these and do not want to hand carry (if even possible) from France so these are well worth the order online.

Makes the BEST Chicken Dujoun in the world
Makes the BEST Chicken Dujoun in the world!!! A little goes a long way in the cream, so it really isn't as expensive as you might think when you consider how long it lasts. I have been using this product for 25 years!

I love their products, this one is excellent (if a bit runny!)

Good but only one downside. I thought that with honey the taste would a little milder but this still packs heat so go easy with it.

A curious feature of this product is that the pot is 11 1/2 cm tall, but that once you take the lid off the mustard inside reaches up 7cm, so 4 1/2 cm is just air. The pot is less than 2/3ds full before you have even stuck the spoon in. Taste-wise, it does not taste like mustard at all. There is no heat, just a rather peculiar and unpleasant slimy sweetness. The proper Pommery mustard, either in the original or 'Royale' versions, is far superior, and I get the impression that some bright spark at the factory has been on a course and learned about 'brand extension' (to go with 'shrinkflation'). According to the label, this is for use on chicken or as a marinade. Personally, I should think that hot chilli jelly does the job better. This, unfortunately, is best avoided.
