I used this to seal exhaust pipes on a wood stove. So far it's working well after several days of use. I also used this to seal the doors as the fiber cloth seal was in bad shape , and it seems to be hold up good as long as it's not exposed to direct flame. (note: I used plastic wrap between the door and stove to stop the silicone from glueing the door on while it dried.)

Used on my fireplace insert chimney topper. It seals the topper to the chimney to keep the smoke only coming out of the 6" liner and keep a seal from the outside to the area surrounding the liner in the chimney. Handles the heat well there with a good bond.

High temp silicone works great on Chinese diesel heater exhaust Coupling.

Seems like it does what it was intended however I wouldn't use it indoors if what you're using it on is going to get very hot, like on my wood stove I used it around the chimney because I was having draft problems, now when I make a fire it stinks a little bit, but I don't think it's really intended for that purpose anyway. Turns out I just needed to add more chimney.

I ordered this caulk to seal an approximate 3/8" to 1/2" gap between my chimney concrete cap and clay flue liners. Caulk worked excellent to fill the gap. Caulk is thick. I used a putty knife to shape as needed. Happy with the result and would order again if needed. I used one tube per clay flue liner due to the large gap I needed to fill.
