I have had this vacuum for almost a year now. I have to say that it's excellent. I did a lot of research before purchasing this item and I am so glad that I decided to purchase this vacuum. The setup was easy. My 12 year old daughter did it for me. I really enjoyed the mopping feature as well. My home is always clean.

Antes tuve un Koblenz y la verdad no sirve, se atora en todos lados y no tiene inteligencia artificial.El deebot N8 Pro Plus, tiene la fabulosa herramienta de escoger que áreas limpiar, en qué momento del día e incluso áreas dentro de tu casa que quieres que evite, porque puedes poner límites virtuales.Súper recomendable!

The N8 Pro+ robot works well. It navigates autonomously throughout the house, has covered all areas and cleans remarkably well on both carpet and tiles. It has only become stuck once when it unexpectedly ingested a piece of rope under a bed. It's great that the robot refuses to go on carpet if it has a mop attached. The mop works though it is a little odd, in that it's hard to remove if you want to use the robot as a vacuum - unless you remove the whole water container.The auto empty bin works, but only if the robot isn't too full, otherwise 50% of dirt stays inside the robot. Increasing vacuum runs improves the situation somewhat. It seems that both sides of the bin are being equally sucked which causes a dead space in the middle. Perhaps blocking one outlet somewhat might alleviate this issue.The supplied auto empty bin was for the wrong voltage (120 V, not 240 V) and Ecovacs Australia support claims that the unit is not purchased from them (even though it was purchased by clicking on the link on their site), is not supported, does not have global warranty and does not have a universal power supply. Their only solution was to purchase another auto empty bin locally. To all appearances both units are identical.The Remote Control App is rubbish. It's unstable, the user interface is horrible, inconsistent, continually fails to connect, makes it impossible to divide rooms. It is impossible to overstate how bad the App is. You should know that unless you push the "auto" button on the robot itself, this device requires an internet connection to operate.

Update: While I’m still not impressed with the vacuum, I am very impressed with the seller and their customer service. After this review, I was contacted and offered a refund for returning the vacuum so they can investigate the issues. The refund was issued the same day and I was provided with a prepaid return shipping label. Hopefully ECOVACS can correct the issues with the vacuum, because a good product partnered with an honorable company is something I’d be very willing to give another try with in the future. Thank you for standing behind your product even when they don’t perform as they should. That’s hard to find in a company and it’s very much appreciated.********We had a different Deebot vacuum for a couple years prior to purchasing this one. The other one had great suction but often got caught in curtains or on cords. After watching tons of video reviews online, we decided to upgrade to this one for the True-detect tech and for the auto-emptying, as well as the mopping function. We quickly determined the mopping function is useless. We have tried it on both LVT as well as our hardwood floors and it’s performance is very poor. The pad only light moves against the floor and doesn’t do anything to get the dirt off the floor. We quickly brushed that feature off as a loss but assumed it would at least function well for the vacuum purposes. We were wrong. As other reviews have mentioned, if you have long haired pets, the auto-empty feature doesn’t work at all. We have to empty it daily as it just leaves the hair all in the dust bin. Fine—we’ll write off that feature as well. As for the True-detect—it still gets caught in cords but does do a bit better avoiding curtains. Now, we are having countless issues with the mapping features. It’s constantly deleting the maps or not turning on for the scheduled times because it unlinks the map. Then when it does clean, it stops for random reasons and then says it’s cannot be located—returning the charge. Every morning, we wake up to find it dead in a room somewhere for no apparent reason after only cleaning for maybe 20 minutes. We’ve had this for 10 months now and are finally just sick of it.
