It works to get the hot air out. I only got this because my ps5 was overheating and I decided to replace the internal fan and add this extra fan.Since I added these two new components my ps5 is cooler and quieter than the 17 blade fan my ps5 came with.

My son's PS5 was overheating so I purchased this cooling fan. So easy snaps right back on the back of the PS5 and has not overheated for about a week now. Definitely recommend

Love the lighting and very good to cooling down the system

As the title suggests, I recommended that you lubricate the fans before use. Otherwise they can make a loud noise while in use and it can get distracting while gaming/streaming. The look is alright, I'd rather not have an "always on" blue LED, but at least I know its on and working. Temperature wise, it may do a little bit of dissipation of heat, but the speed is not substantial like some high end noctua fan. Installing it is easy and it fits perfectly. Just clip it in from the top back and plug into the USB-A port and voila! Sure, there are other PS5 cooling fans out there that are more high end and may work better, but for the cost, this works just fine for me.

It was easy enough to hook up just wish the fans were A Little bit stronger and make sure you get the right one for the PlayStation you have

Became unbearably noisy after just a couple days. Customer service told me to add pads. So basically they wanted me to fix their poor design. The light also requires a physical push of the button which doesn't prevent the ps5 from turning it back on even in rest mode.Performance wise, there was no change in temperature. I measured in multiple locations both before and after using it. Test were after playing a power hungry game for an hour and measuring the temps on the surface and on the ports in the back. No change with the fans.The problem is that these fans aren't located at the hottest part of the playstation. That is at the bottom section (if vertical) near the power cable and ports.Even if the fans were quiet, they just don't do what they claim to justify keeping them on.The best way to keep your PS5 cool is to just do regular cleaning by removing the panels. These fans are snake oil.
