Q: Can this be used to act as a failover wan connection via lte to a uxg-pro in the event that my broadband modem connection fails?

Yes, it supports fail-over internet connection between WAN and LTE network. You can set the 1st priority network, and it will switch to 2nd priority network when the 1st priority network is failed. For example, automatically switch to LTE network when Wan connection is offline, and vise versa.

Q: I have a 24v DC battery system, does it work?

Yes, it will work. The router supports DC 9-48V wide voltage input.

Q: I want to know what i should ask at t-mobile store. a sim card for hostpod or for mobile phone ?

Hi Keart, thank you for choosing Linovision. Please use SIM card for hotspot. It can also be working with regular mobile phone SIM cards. Some hotspot SIM cards are limited to iPad only, then they will not be working with our routers. You can also order SIM cards from us, please check our official site.

It works on AT&T and T-Mobile (not Verizon) 3G/4G networks.
