Potty/Bacinica

Things I appreciate about this book: A YOUNG toddler is featured in the illustrations!! Great for 1 year olds! Most potty training books are targeted for way older kids. It’s bilingual, great for both English- and Spanish-speaking parents. (Note that it’s not a 100% perfect translation from English, as is unfortunately typical in most bilingual books, but it’s close enough to not be unreadable in Spanish.) It’s cute, simple, and mirrors the vocabulary of a little person! It’s not too long for a potty break – a quick read! My 3 kids have all loved this book in their own stages of learning to use the potty. Currently the 17mo has been requesting this multiple times a day for the last few months, and the 3yo also still enjoys it. I appreciate Leslie Patricelli’s sense of humor and bold illustrations in this and other books!

We LOVE these books! When my girls were babies we had several of these books and they were our favorites. So now these books are our “go to” for baby gifts! I love that some of the them are Spanish & English, as we have some friends in bilingual homes.

Great picture book to encourage little ones to use the real potty…

This book is great for playing the seed in your kids brain. I have a 3 year old that still loves this book even though she’s fully potty trained now. This book helped her

This book is very cute and with just a few words. The pictures are nice. Maybe to show that other children go to the potty. The translation to Spanish is ok, but I am picky about some of the words they use, so I change the words myself when I read it. What I love is that in a bilingual family anyone can read the.book to my child.

My toddler loves this! it is easy to understand and my 20 month old can follow the story line and relate to it. I love her books and have gotten a few others.

I started reading my daughter this book now that she is potty training and she really responds to it. I love that is is both English and Spanish, since it gives us a nice opportunity to work on her biliugual vocabulary. Overall, it is a cute little book to have for her.

We, in our household, are loving the Leslie Patricelli series. Super cute illustrations and simple story lines easily hold the attention of younger aged toddlers. Pleased about the bilingual option. Highly recommend!

Super lindo!!! Mi bebé tiene 21 meses, casi dos años y le gusta mucho el libro, siempre que lo ve me pide que lo lea, solo lo ve y dice "bebé, bebé" esta funcionando porque ya se empieza a sentar sin pañal en el bañito y a quitárselo. La calidad del libro es muy buena, todas las páginas son duras, muy bonitas ilustraciones, colores y resistente al desgaste de las manitas de una niña de 2 años, lo recomiendo 100%
