it was great to find this one on sale
Having been without my desktop for several years, it was great to find this one on sale. Great value and works well for my needs. Googling, email, printing, social media surfing.

Good buy if you can deal with Windows 10.
So far so good. Had this desktop for about 3 months now and it's humming along. Not really fond of Windows 10, but whatcha gonna do? It did come with alot of bloatware on it, but it only took about five minutes to delete it. It's very quiet, seems to run cool and is a very small unit. The only thing I don't like is that the vent on the side has really big holes and I'm worried about long term dust exposure. I'm trying to keep it clean, but the holes - why are they so huge? Maybe that doesn't matter. Dust is pretty small afterall. So, anyway - minus a star for Windows 10 and the keyboard which is pretty cruddy, but the PC itself seems to be a solid unit. Good job Acer. This is the second acer product I've owned and both have been 4 out of 5 stars. ( the other was a laptop that has lasted me 5 years, but the letters are just about worn off the keyboard and it gets a little hot and loud sometimes. ) Overall though, Acer is my new go-to brand. Used to be Sony, but they think way too much of their stuff now for my tastes. I can use that extra money on something else. Acer makes a good product for the money.

Take a chance on something else.
I've had this computer for a year. It does as you would expect, functions for basic email checking, microsoft office etc., but after six months it began to freeze and I had to force hard shutdowns often. I've reached out to Acer for technical support which should be covered by my warranty but they haven't returned my work order request and it's been two months.

Nice product and it doesn't take up too much desk ...
Nice product and it doesn't take up too much desk space. I couldn't give it more stars because one of the front panel USB ports is non-functional. I didn't return it because I had all my software and data loaded before I discover the port did not work.

For a PC, it's a good buy.
I really didn't want to buy a PC again. I really wanted an Mac. But I just can't afford a MAC. As PC's go, this has worked fine, no problems with the computer itself. I just hate Microsoft. But it will do.

... for about a year and believe I found the best value I could find in shopping for this computer
I was searching for about a year and believe I found the best value I could find in shopping for this computer . i wanted something that was small, powerful enough for my needs, low end graphics, dual Cpu's (3.7 megs Cpu core speed) and fast (2133Mhz) memory buss speed and a 1 gig hard drive (fast access but enough storage for my needs). I do a lot of web browsing, word pocessing and minor gaming. Like I mentioned best "Value" I could find, but possibly adding more memory on top of the standard (peppy)4 gigs could help out. Since i got one of the first shipped, I did all my evaluating from the outisde. I would imagine that inside there is another memory slot (there usually is two and if anyone knows what video cards will work in this machine I'd be interested to know. The built in Intel 530 graphics are adequate for a start.SignedVery Satisfied Old Retiree

Great for the price
Neat little unit with lots of capacity. The keyboard and mouse are clunky but who cares with what the package cost
