I bought this belt 7 months ago (Jan 2025). As a former powerlifter decided to give it a trial by fire before writing a review. Like any new belt it needs to be worn before it takes a "set" to your body. This one was comfortable right away and I have decreased my notches by two as it has "relaxed" due to use. Support wise this is a good training belt for 98% of the population. Very adequate stability. Comfortable enough to wear thru most of your session. Felt very stable and supported doing squat and deadlift sets in the 450-500 range. Above that spend the dough for a 13mm comp belt. So far it has held up well 5 times a week for 6 months. The only negative I have for this being a great training belt is that when you are really trying to cinch it up tight. There is quite a bit of side-to-side play(movement) in the prongs making it a little difficult to find the belt notch. But I would recommend this for any beginner/advanced lifter looking for a quality product/price balance.

When I started weight lifting I had previously bought a cheaper belt that was velcro and it provided very little support. This belt provides tons of support and I feel a big difference in strength and stability when I squat and deadlift heavy. It's helped me progress a lot. With that said, I don't use it for lighter weight, I start using it when I get to 80% of my 1 rep max. I highly recommend this for anyone not looking to spend a lot of money on a belt.

I’ve owned this belt since October of 2023 and it still looks brand new. I bought it along with some wrist straps, and the bar padding to do hip thrust. I use the belt for squatting and deadlift. And it helps a lot with my lower back pain (I’ve hard lower back problems for years now). As a university student this is a great purchase if you don’t have a lot of money to spend.

Pleasantly surprised with this purchase. Was hesitant at first based on the price point, but took a chance based on reviews and this belt holds up to the test. Holes and hardware are holding up nicely.
