Midwestern PRO PAC Ultimates Dry Dog Food, 28 Pound, Whitefish

I just purchased this dog food. I am so excited for the amount, price, and quality! We have a senior dog that is allergic to life. We have tried everything plus some. This is an affordable dog food that he can eat along with our new pup.I will update with more once we have finished the first bag.Update: We have almost finished the bag. A 14 week old puppy and a 10 year old dog. We are loving it! No skin issues for the older one (the is an understatement) and the younger one is looking good too.

We rescued our Great Dane, Citizen, back in November. It quickly became apparent for us and the vet that he had some allergies. He was on puppy pro plan but without 50% rice added, he was a mud factory. We then tried changing from the chicken-based puppy pro plan to Pro Pac with lamb. This helped some but did not really take care of it completely. We could get him down to 25% rice before the muddy waterfall started. The vet really wanted us to try white fish and we were so happy with Pro Pac that we went with Pro Pac white fish.AMAZING! He loves the food, absolutely head over heels when we bring it out. More than he was for any of the other food. We have successfully gotten him to 100% Pro Pac Whitefish and 0% rice! I cannot express the freedom and stress relief just from getting his food right. It was never fun getting frantic any time Citizen's nose went to the ground. We can now allow him to wander the condo and have not had any accidents or problems for over a month.THANK YOU PRO PAC!

Our dogs are giant breed and take longer to reach adulthood so we need food lower in protein for them. We have tried several brands and the dogs both seem to gravitate toward fish flavors so when I saw this I figured I would give it a try. Well the dogs love it and eagerly wolf it down. I love the price since the orevious brand we got was nearly double the price. I will be ordering this again for sure.

Dogs were not crazy about it at first, but have no issues now. My one dog has severe allergies so I am trying different brands to find the perfect fit for all three.

My pup gets bored with the same food month after month, so I often switch up the brand and flavor to keep him interested. We are almost done with this bag and he still races to his dish for this food when normally, he is bored and ready for a new flavor by now. His stool is nice and firm, his coat looks bright and shiny. I was a bit concerned that he might have fish-breath, but I do not notice a bad odor at all after he eats this food. I'm so glad we found this, it will certainly be a part of our regular rotation from now on.

I don’t normally write reviews but I’m going to write a review in this case. We have a Sharpei, they are notorious for skin issues and ear issues. I didn’t really realize how poorly he was doing with the other food until I put him on this. He used to scratch his ears, he no longer does that. He used to shake his head all the time because his ears bothered him, he no longer does that. He used to smell, he smelled horribly bad, no one wanted to pet him or play with them but now he smells great. He used to scratch other parts of his body all the time, he doesn’t do that anymore. He used to shake, like when a dog shakes off water, but he doesn’t do that anymore either. His coat used to be dull but now it’s shiny. He’s like a completely different dog and I 100% believe it is because of this food. He will never get anything else ever again.

Get it. Get it now.My Autumn has high energy and skin and joint issues like many rescue Pits. Tried this after a friend suggested it. She loves it. Never turns up her nose.This combined with ultra oil and glucosamine her coat and her gate have improved so much it's uncanny. And she seems calmer around the house. Saved me $2000 on X-rays. And it's pretty affordable compared to other grain free foods.

My dogs LOVE this food. I originally purchased it for one of my dogs that has severe allergies (ear/skin infections) to any meat protein other than fish. The food also has to be grain free for him and my other dog, so this fit perfectly! I was so happy to find a food that worked for both of them at a great price. Unfortunately, I can only give 3 stars because the price is not consistent and went up over $10 since the last time I purchased it. I may be on the hunt for a new food again.
