Cute shabby chic Quiet Clock ..a soft limey pastel green.
Light green pretty ..definately a light lime green (not a hint of turquiose or aqua) a yellow base light greenI had hoped from photos for a soft pastel light aqua blue base green ..it is not.It is distressed beautifully and looks very old and vintage. Very shabby chic and cute.I used the carbon zinc AA battery as recommended in description and so far working great .. only arrived a few hours ago so will need to update later on how well it keeps time,Small cute vintage look quiet clockArrived safely ..thank youno nice box for the clock .. if giving as a gift it comes in very safe protective polystrene casing inside a brown cardboard box .. it does not look good until you get to the clock. Still arriving safe is far more important than a pretty outer boxI think it is a little over priced but very cute.UPDATE several days now and keeping time perfectly and very quiet .. I like it very very much and upgrading it to 5 stars from 4

and the distress-look is good, can't really tell if the glass face is ...
Hey I wasn't expecting much for the price, but it did say it was made of pewter and with so many things made of plastic I figured what-the-hay. The overall body is pewter, and the distress-look is good, can't really tell if the glass face is really glass, but after tapping it... it seems like it. The back cover is plastic, though it matches the color on the pewter. Its battery operated, if you didn't realize that - just a simple quartz clock mechanism like you would buy from Ben Franklin's for clock DIY projects, this one doesn't have a second hand though. The clock face is crisp and sharp. So is it worth the money? - yup, I'll say so, get the look for a fraction of the price. I bought this for my kitchen table, to mimic that old country kitchen feel... and it does just that.

I love this clock
I love this clock. It makes a little ticking noise at night, not too loud, which is good because I am sound-sensitive. I would have taken a picture of the clock but I took off the bird on top of it, I didn't like that part, and so because I adjusted it I figured I couldn't take a pic of it. I have it on top of my desk so I always catch myself looking at it to see what time it is. I like how it looks so antique-looking, that's one of the things that drew me to it.

Adorable! Perfect Fit!
This clock was even cuter than I expected!! You never know when they say "Shabby Chic" how well that will be done. This is perfect! It truly looks like something I picked up in a dusty little antique shop in Paris! The only thing that surprised me was the beautiful back I expected to be made of the same metal as the rest of the clock, but it is plastic. It is well done and not really noticeable but you will want to use care when opening to get to the battery case and setting wheel!

Love the look!
Disclosure: I bought the same clock in a different color last year and it didn't last. Tried new battery, everything, just broke. Too late to return it. But I love the French country look so much and the little birds, so I took a chance and bought this white one. So pretty! Let's hope it'll last more than a year this time. (BTW, I removed the broken timepiece from the original clock and used the case as a picture frame.)
