Whats the difference in H nocks and s nocks? I want to buy these for my boyfriend and I obviously know nothing about archery.
Will they fit Easton 5 mm axis arrows
what size are they
How do they switch on, when the arrow is shot?

They Changed the Size

Absolutely love these nocks and have run them for years. Its amazing how long they last and the ability to use them over and over again before dying. I keep two sets because of this. One for target shooting, ones that have died but weight the same, and a set on my hunting arrows. It finally came time for new nocks on my hunting arrows and they changed the size of them. I just called Customer Service at FeraDyne and they confirmed the change. This matters if your string nock point and D-Loop are tied for the old style like mine. With the new "fatter" style, it pinches the nock.

Ethical laser beams

The media could not be loaded. High quality lighted nocks. I’ve purchased probably 5-6 packs and all have worked great. I would also recommend purchasing the nock tool to help turn them off/insert them as it works better than a knife, etc. Obviously they look awesome in flight (laser beam) and give instant feedback of where you’ve hit your target. Furthermore, if you film your hunt then it will be much easier to see your entry point with these nocks installed. In a hunting application these are in my opinion very practical and ethical because they help you find your arrow and that will help you to get on the blood trail. You also don’t want to leave a broad head tipped arrow out in the woods or on someone’s property. These make sure you can find your arrow, especially in low light conditions. I’ve broken a few of these and left the light on to see how long the light would shine for and although it was barely on these will stay lit for at least a week, I’ve seen it last up to three weeks. Again, not bright but it was on! Picture and video is from an Oklahoma whitetail, cheers and good luck!

They work every time...

Background - I shoot every day. I bought these a few weeks ago to dial them in with broadheads (I am using Muzzy Trocar with the helic) in for hunting season. I found my broadheads were shooting fairly similar to my fieldtips without the Nockturnals. When I added the Nockturnals, it took me a bit to tune the bow again so that the broadheads/Nockturnals flew true to just arrows with fieldtips/Nockturnals. They are now flying identical out to 70 yards. When I shoot just fieldtips/regular nocks, those arrows shoot straight, but are about 2.5 inches high compared to broadhead/nockturnals. I had to make zero windage corrections to get the arrows to match. In practice, I have now shot the 3 Nockturnals a total of about 75+ times.Pros -1. Have worked every time.2. Are nice and bright. (When I was dialing in, I missed the target low under the target on one of my first shots. I immediately found the arrow...which was cool.Cons -1. They are a bit difficult to turn off. Once you get the hang of it, they are still a pain.2. Tool to turn off for $10?!! I know, you can use a toothpick or arrow tip. But that little tool you can buy is pretty useful. But if you need a tool for them to function...don't you think it should be included?3. Even with the tool, they are still a pain. You have to make sure they actually slide up. Which is not that big a deal if you are used to it. But when i was first turning them off, I kept wondering if they were actually all the way off. Like another reviewer, on one occasion it didn't slide the whole way up and lit up as I put the arrow on the string. That doesn't happen to me now, but I have used them a bunch now. ****Seems to me that they could add a little slot for the tool to slide into to easily slide it up.****Bottom line - they work every time! I saw a couple other reviews where the nock broke. I would just have to guess that they were wrong for their arrows or something. I highly doubt these will break when I shoot them. I will update my review if any break. I am buying 6 more so that I will have a dozen...8 for practice, 4 for hunting.*Shoot straight*9/19/2016 Update - I now have hundreds of shots with the first 3 that I bought. The batteries are dead, but I continue to practice with them. I'm still a fan with no issues at all. I'll add 3 new ones to my practice quiver this week.

Best bang for your buck, and TOUGH as nails.

First and foremost let me say these are some of the best nocks I’ve ever used. I’ve shot these for tons of rounds of practice and sling several in the tree stand at different animals. This arrow was shot at a block target at distance to confirm pins and shot high. The arrow grazed the top of the target and hit the woven handle causing the arrow to deviate out of the normal path. This was on November 18, 2019.The arrow entered a hay field behind the target and even with the Nockturnal, I was unable to locate the arrow. On November 24, 2019, my neighbor (whose property adjoins the hay field) contacted me and asked if I had lost an arrow. The owner of the hay field had run his mower across the field the day before my neighbor called me which allowed him to see the arrow. I went and picked up my arrow and immediately noticed the nockturnal was still glowing. The attached picture is about 8 hours after I picked up the arrow. The run time on the package states that the nocks have a 20 hour run time for the nock. At roughly 200 hours of run time, my nick is still burning. The nock was destroyed by the mower but the light is still burning. This is a testament to how tough these nocks truly are.If you’re looking for a nock that can help with tracking down your expensive hunting arrows after a pass through shot on an animal, I wouldn’t recommend any other brand on the market. They are one of the best additions I’ve added to my arrows.Installation was tight and the nocks are not an easy push in (Easton Axis 5mm 340 spine) but they hold tight enough that I don’t worry about them remaining on the string when I take a shot. Just takes time to learn how to slide them into the string without activating the switch. These things are money well spent and worth every penny in my opinion.Already ordered another set so I can have them ready when I build my next set of arrows.
